Great - they showed up on time, called before they came, fixed the problem all while having to deal with the condo owner below who wanted to blame everything that was ever wrong with her condo on this leak.

The plumber, Jason, arrived at the designated time to replace our two VERY outdated (and much-despised) toilets. Jason stated that another plumber needed the assistant he was supposed to have with him, but he assured me that the job would still be completed within the estimated time frame. He took great care to protect our floors with tarp, then he set to work. He had advised me that the mounting brackets holding the toilets in place might have to be replaced, and sure enough, once he got the first toilet unmounted, the bracket was a flimsy-looking plastic job; I told him I wanted both brackets replaced (an additional cost which he had already quoted me). I also agreed to have the shut-off valves for both toilets replaced, as the old ones were *very* difficult to turn - bad news in an emergency.
Jason worked quickly and got both toilets installed and working in less than the time estimated; he was very professional throughout the entire job (and the week before when he came out to give me the initial quote). He cleaned up after himself, gave me the detailed invoice with phone numbers for authorized flooring installers in case we wanted to redo the tile (the builder had installed linoleum *after* the toilet was put in, so the new toilets didn't completely cover the hole left by the old ones), but he did a very good job of patching, so we may not need to.
This was our second experience with Holden Plumbing, and I continue to be very impressed with them; from the front office scheduler to the plumbing specialist, they are a class-A operation, and we're going to keep going back to them!

Diagnosed toilet clog as an old washer gone awry. The old washer got stuck in the system and plumber located the washer and removed it. As compared with the other plumbing company did not locate the same clog.

Arrived early and were highly professional. Installation of a gas line under the island was perfect. Clean up was complete. After the remodeler installed the gas cook top and the vent-a-hood, Yancy from Holden Plumbing returned and connected the gas line. Everything was perfect.
We have used Holden Plumbing on several occasions and they have always exceeded our expectations.

The were scheduled to start on Monday, called and asked if they could start early on Saturday.  Showed up on time, worked all day Saturday, 1/2 day Sunday, Monday and completed job on Tuesday.  All that happened Tuesday was inspection and backfill.
They did an excellent job, communicated everything along the way, worked with us on concerns we had.  Proper permit and inspection was done and the city inspector even commented it was an excellent job.
All was great.  Highly recommend.  We have used Holden for the last 3 major plumbing issues we have had and been satisfied each time.

Water heater quit working and needed replacement. Spoke with 3 plumbers, of which Holden was 1. Decided to go with Holden based on Angie's List reviews and pricing. Was very pleased.
They were prompt, called at 7:45 am and they were here before 9 am. Jason H. was great. Very professional. Came in and assessed the problem, gave a quote, we discussed and he went over everything thoroughly that he was going to do and the proposal was signed and work began.
He worked very hard and I had a nice hot shower at the end of the day.
To go a step further, on the 5th, we then had another plumbing issue that was un-related (backed up sewer due to roots). I called early, as I had a plane to catch and was very stressed about missing the flight and leaving the problem unattended. I called and Becky, who is awesome, said she would send someone right over.
A different Jason arrived promptly, un-stopped the sewer line and I made my plane without any problems.
These guys rock! and they also have online coupons - $100 off the water heater and $50 off the other issue.

Both the plumber and his apprentice were helpful, punctual and patient with my many questions. Our water heater is VERY difficult to access (old house, garage conversion). They were thorough and did not leave a mess on the floors.

Each time they arrived on time, we're very friendly, and efficient. Plumbing can be expensive, but every time the they offered me a coupon. I have always felt they tried to give value for service.

Excellent! I called this morning to have work done near our check valve/irrigation. They scheduled a time from 12-2; but an hour later they called to see if I was available for them to come out earlier and sure enough they showed up at 11 am! The repairmen, David, was very nice. I showed him the problem and he knew exactly what I was talking about and what the problem was. He took a look and wrote me a quote and completed the work in a timely manner. Also it should be noted that I called them to come out over the weekend and Nick, the guy who was going to come out and do the work on Saturday warned me of the exorbitant prices they hide in the labor since its outside of normal business hours (which the dispatcher over the phone failed to tell me). He was willing to come out but wanted to warn us. So we decided to live without water for 2 days to save the money. The repair work comes with a 2 year warranty. I'm a very happy customer and I will definitely be using this company in the future should I need their services again!

They came out last year. I called them and thought it was a plumbing issue and he was kind enough to come out and let me know that it was my air conidtioner leaking. He went above and beyond what I had called him to do. He fixed the flooding problem for me.

Two plumbers showed up. As soon as I started explaining the problem one interrupted to say it was probably an obstruction deep in the outflow pipe and that we might be jackhammering up the floor to locate it and replace part of the pipe. I said, and quot;Whoa, can't we see if we can just open the drain with a snake or something first?and quot; Meanwhile, the second guy was not talking. He was actually working. He began probing the drain with a snake. A few minutes later he pulled it out with some string material on the end. and quot;Could be tree rootsand quot; he said. and quot;Oh, wow,and quot; says the first guy. and quot; You know what that means. We're going to have to tear up this shower floor and get down to that.and quot; The first guy, who was continuing to actually work, examined his find and said, and quot; No. It's strings from a piece of cloth.and quot; The stone workers had used a rag to stuff the drain during their work to try to keep it clean. We turned on the water and it drained find. The quick probe had pushed the problem through the line.

Basically, they were punctual. One plumber did good, quick, efficient work. The price was reasonable. But the loud guy who was ready to tear up my slap for thousands of dollars without every doing two minues of work to diagnose the problem left me with a sour taste. If he had just said, and quot;Well, that could be something very serious. We need to see if we can open it up and if not we may need to put a camera down there and see if there's a bigger problem, and quot; I would have been fine. Although they seem to know how to do plumbing, Mr. Disaster made me think I probably won't call them again.
Response from Holden Plumbing
"We appreciate your feedback about our technician's demeanor when he was at your home. All I can do is say I'm sorry that you didn't have a great experience with us. I do wish that you had called us back when the work was done. We really do care about our customers and want to make sure you are treated with respect and feel that we did a great job for you at a great price. Since this work was actually done on 3/15/11, there isn't much I can do about it now, a year later. Call us again and I'll make sure we take better care of you!"

We think it went well. We were not in a big hurry so having a delays did not bother us. It did take a lot longer than he thought, but we were there and they did not dilly-dally around or waste time. This work just takes time.

I'm still reeling from the shock at the cost to do this repair....

It was an emergency after 5pm ,so we had no choice but to call out the first available service company that could send someone. So the upside of the whole story is that they came within an hour of the call, and the technician was pleasant. He arrived around 6.30 and left just after 8pm, unable to complete the job as the ground needed to be excavated in order to align the pipes, etc. So we were fully aware of the $159 after hours callout, and he said it would be around $500 for that night's work.

The next day he arrived around 10am with another technician and they completed the job by 3.30pm. So under 2 hours overtime last night cost $380 ($190 per hour), and then labor costs for today for 5.5hrs work was $1170, therfore, 11 man hours brings it to $106/hr . The total bill was $1800 less the $100 coupon. Of that $1700, only $75 was parts. I'm still completely stunned at the cost. However, since we know nothing about plumbing and cannot survive without water, we had no choice but to have the work done by the first person who could come out. Maybe $100+ per hour is standard labor charge for plumbing...(and almost double after hours) i didn't know before but I will surely never forget !

Can't comment on the quality of the work since it's all underground and we're clueless.

At first, I was fairly confident that I was capable of installing it myself, but then thought better of it; I called our "regular" plumber, but he ended up canceling on me. At a friend's suggestion, I joined Angie's List and started looking for well-reviewed plumbers; Holden Plumbing stood out as a first-rate company, and after using their services, I wholeheartedly agree. Burk came out first thing in the morning, as scheduled, after I got a very nice courtesy call from Becky in their office. He was very pleasant and worked quickly, explaining everything as he went. However, since I had not yet made some additional cuts into my counter for this new, slightly larger gas unit, I didn't find out until later in the morning, after I had done the work that the cooktop wouldn't sit flat on the counter due to the flex hose hitting the built-in oven underneath. I groaned, then called Holden back - Becky had Burk call me, and I explained the problem to him. He came back out and made changes to the install, and was very courteous and quick. My new gas cooktop is installed, and I couldn't be happier; Holden provides excellent service, and as far as I'm concerned, they are my new "regular" plumber!

In the middle of cooking a big Thanksgiving dinner the kitchen sink stopped up. We tried drain cleaners and it got progressively worse. I called a couple of plumbers and they were either unavailable or astronomically expensive. When I called Holden Plumbing the person who answered the phone was very nice and helpful. She sent Craig, who left his own Thanksgiving gathering and came over quickly. He couldn't have been friendlier or more accommodating and he even took the time to take a quick look at our shower drain and show us how to remove the strainer to clear a clog. After all that I was thrilled that the bill wasn't higher, considering that it was a holiday. It was worth every penny and I've never appreciated a plumber more. Craig and Holden Plumbing completely won me over.
