ALSO please note we try to stay in Coppell....and Irving is not in our typical service area. m"
I have hired Coppell Lawn and Garden to mow my lawn (weekly) in the past and they always did an excellent job. The communication is great, they respond quickly to emails. When I needed the shrubs and beds cleaned up there was no question that I was going to hire them. Getting on their schedule is painless and the work was completed within a very reasonable time frame. They quoted me $130 to $180, depending on the time spent at my house, which is tracked by GPS. It is always nice when you get a quote that varies that ultimately comes back on the lower end. They didn't waste any time; they showed up, did the work, and left. They do excellent work and are very consistent. I plan on hiring them to get me set up with a seasonal landscaping plan in the near future.
On one occasion I received an email from them stating that we had not left a check under the mat. I responded that we had left a check under the front doormat and they must have missed it but I could mail it to them if they wanted. Their reponse was somewhat accusatory, and they said that this was why they preferred to auto-debit my account. I wasn't thrilled with the idea of giving them my account information but did it anyway.
Right before Christmas I asked them to come mow and trim our hedges in the front yard. I specified that some of the hedges had Christmas lights on them and could wait to be trimmed until January. That day, I got an email from them stating that the crew was there and I hadn't said there were leaves in the yard and that they normally charge extra for that. They also said that I hadn't told them there were Christmas lights on the hedges, even though I had. I was a little surprised since it was December and everyone had leaves in their yard and lights on their hedges, and they charge an hourly rate so why did it matter if there were leaves or not?
Overall, I thought their prices were a little high and I didn't like the accusatory tone they used in their communication with me. It seemed like the customer was always wrong. I decided to go with another company and it has saved me a lot of aggravation.
