We have been using Ben and Dad's since we moved to this house (5 years ago) and have continued to be very happy with their service. They are reliable to cut the grass weekly starting late Spring through early Fall and cut the grass bi-weekly or when needed in late Fall to early Spring. They also put fertilizer on when needed and leave us a notice that they have done so. From time to time, we have also asked them to help trim our bushes (added cost) which they have done a good job. They were prompt to return our calls when we have asked for this additional service.

They show up every week and do a good job. They clean up when done and clear the patio and sidewalk.

"When first doing business with [removed members name] in 2010, she turned down the offer to be a part of our Weed Control and Fertilization Program, and she did not want shrub trimming. She stated that she liked to do yard work herself, and wanted only weekly mowing. We have since taken on doing irrigation repair and tree work with our business, but she did not ask for any repairs from us. We do leaf cleanup for those customers desiring such, but we did not perform any leaf cleanup for this customer at all last year. She was not charged for leaf cleanup, nor is there any cleanup listed on any of her invoices. We have rectified our turnaround times for special work requested, and the last time [removed members name] and I talked in the fall of 2013, I told her that we would be there promptly for any service she requested. In a phone call with [removed members name]today, she acknowledged that she had not called for any extra service since that call. I explained that we DO OFFER an Annual Maintenance Agreement that is a pretty much automatic provider of lawn service, Pre-Emergent and Fertilizer applications, shrub trimming, etc., but she has elected to find another service provider. [removed members name] has been a very good customer, and our phone conversation today was very pleasant, though I am disappointed that we will not have a chance to fix the issues. We would love to work with [removed members name] again, should the opportunity arise."

They are very responsive and very easy to deal with. That they are a locally-based provider in Coppell is a nice plus. The work they do each week look very nice. I recommend them.

I needed to find someone to mow my yard for basic upkeep, and they were in the neighborhood. They are very easy to work with and happy to discuss the type of lawn care you are looking for. They are very knowledgeable in landscaping care and needs.

"WHEN I CONTACTED THIS CUSTOMER REGARDING HIS ANGIE'S LIST COMMENTS THAT THE "COST WAS HIGHER THAN THE ESTIMATE" AND THAT HE WAS SURPRISED THAT "LEAF CLEANUP WAS NOT INCLUDED", I REMINDED HIM THAT THIS IS CLEARLY SPELLED OUT IN THE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT. HE ADMITTED THAT HE "HAD NOT READ THE AGREEMENT" ENTIRELY OR CAREFULLY, AND HE ADMITTED THAT THE FAULT WAS HIS OWN FOR THIS "SURPRISE". OUR ANNUAL MAINTENANCE AGREEMENTS, AND OUR MONTH TO MONTH AGREEMENTS, CLEARLY IDENTIFY WHAT IS AND IS NOT INCLUDED IN OUR SERVICE PRICES. WE ALWAYS TRY TO BE UPFRONT WITH ANY ADDITIONAL COSTS FOR SERVICES, NOTIFYING OUR CUSTOMERS VERBALLY AND IN WRITING ABOUT THESE ITEMS THAT ARE NOT INCLUDED IN REGULAR MAINTENANCE PRICES. YOU WILL ALWAYS KNOW WHAT YOU ARE RECEIVING WITH BEN-N-DAD'S LAWN SERVICE, LLC!"

I've used Ben-n-Dad's since 2001 for all my landscaping needs. (I pay by the month.) They mow weekly, fertilize when needed, remove leaves in the fall, and ... periodically ... do planting and landscaping. If you live in Coppell, you can't go wrong with David (dad).
