ASAP STUMP REMOVAL

Called him after recommendation from Affordable Tree Service. Rather difficult to understand on the phone, but we arranged for an estimate. He told me he'd stop by and text me with his estimate. Well after the time he said he would come, I still had no text, so I called. He quoted me $175, which was much more affordable than other vendors were coming in at. I asked him some details about availability and told him I'd get back to him since I was getting other quotes. On Wednesday, my husband and I got home to find the work partially done, with no invoice and no messages about what was going on. After some detective work, I found out that Kenny had come out and did work after all, without me scheduling it. He said he'd be out to finish the next day and now quoted $200, saying that had been his original quote all along. I was okay since he did more than originally anticipated, but not exactly pleased that he had performed work without my go ahead. It looks like he finished yesterday, but once again no message or invoice- I'm not sure if he's done or not or how to pay. Service performed was done well, but professional communication was not a high point.
