MAD DOG WELDING & TRAILERS

It was fantastic!  Highly recommend Mad Dog Welding.  Due to weather it took a while for them to come out, but once they started it went fast and gave us high quality with a great price.

I had a difficult time locating anyone to do my project until I happened on Mad Dog and his employee Michael.  Their small business is geared toward building and repairing big trailers and repairing heavy duty trucks.  But Michael has an artistic bent and was eager to take on my job. He took my ideas and improved on them.  I was surprised when he laid out the entire designs in actual size (and guage) on their welding table for my wife and me to look at before he began fabrication.  My house is brick and the entry ways are brick and we found out they are somewhat irregular in size (not exactly what you would call "plumb plumb").  Michael and his coworker, Clay, spent extra time and effort to make the installation fit.  I know for a fact that Michael came back on a Sunday and spent three or four hours of his own time tweeking the final results.  I am very pleased with the results.
The only small caveat I would give on dealing with the Mad Dog bunch is to comment that Mad Dog time and Central Standard time do not necessarily coincide. They seem to be very busy with their main business of heavy metal work.  But I actualy enjoyed this experiece.  The were hard workers and did a very good job for me.
