It went very well. Lalo has done work for me before. I don't even bother with an estimate now because his prices are actually too low. I may ruin things for future customers because I keep telling him he doesn't charge enough. This time I tipped him an extra $50.00 because I felt guilty.
He continues to amaze me with his creativity. Neither of us had been able to find the right staples to repair my Planter's shutters, so he made some staples.
It went very well. Lalo thoroughly washed deck before painting. The deck had been painted with a normal exterior paint that was not holding up. Lalo used a stain and sealant paint. My garage has a high ceiling and was not easy to tape and paint. Lalo had a tall ladder and handled the job well. My bedroom is carpeted and the great room has tile. The carpeting had pulled away from the tile and exposed the tacks meant to hold the carpet in place. Lalo drilled holes in the concrete for anchors to screw down the aluminum strip (moulding) that covered the gap between the carpet and tile. I thought it was a unique approach.
I thought that Lalo did not charge enough, so I tipped him $50.
