ABC APPLIANCES

It didn't go too well since no one called me back! I think it is really important to have a good answering machine!

Got off to a bad start. I called ABC on 4/19 based on the excellent reports on Angie's List, to see if a repairman would be available to fix our dryer 4/20 in the early afternoon around 1:00 (between other appts I had scheduled). Raul Rivera answered the phone, said yes he could come, could he come in the morning? I explained my schedule availability and he said yes, he could come 4/20 at 1:00 p.m. and asked for all my contact information. 4/20 1:00 pm came and went with no Raul and no phone call. I called him around 3:30 and asked what had happened. He apologized profusely and accepted responsibility for missing the appt. He politely asked when he could come out; I asked if he could come at 6:00 p.m and he agreed (even though that's later than his stated hours). He called at about 5:45 to confirm directions and arrived on time. I was at an another appt but Raul met with my husband and did the work quickly and efficiently for a reasonable price, and apologized several more times for missing the earlier appt. I would call him again.

They were very prompt. They showed up when they said they would. They kept me informed as to what was going on. They were really good about getting me the paperwork that I needed to turn into our insurance company.

He called me when he was on his way, he took the old parts away, and he had the new parts available. The service call was inexpensive and he gave me a military discount. He was very nice and he explained other things about the refrigerator. He did good work and he explained to me what was going on.

He arrived promptly, advised cost of repairs, returned as promised with parts and installed. Washer was 17 years old and the oven and disposal were the originals with the house when built 18 years ago. I highly recommend him. Very courteous and explained everything he was doing, cleaned the work area as he went along and swept the floor when he finished.

After Raeul found the problem he showed me how I could check it in the future if it happens again. He was very courteous and professional.

My husband called and described the problem. The repairman arrived within an hour. He diagnosed the problem and the refrigerator was running within another hour. He was efficient, polite, and his price was very reasonable.

He was wonderful. He called me back and I told him what was wrong so he could help diagnose the problem and have the correct parts and tools to complete the service. He also arrived 5 minutes early. He was also efficient with the repairs because he had the parts and tools on him. After he left, a couple hours he called to make sure the refrigerator was cold again.
