Reflection Floors

This time around, whatever sealer he uses created an inconsistency that in two areas of the floor created a dull worn look while looking great on the other areas of the floor. (The floor is in a family room, breakfast nook and kitchen so it has high traffic loads.) As I said, we have always been more than satisfied until this visit. Because of the inconsistency and "tackiness" of the surface on different areas of the floor, we called Mr. Pady and he did come out, looked the problem over and said he would come back to fix the problem with the proper materials which he did not have that day. A date was set and he later called and delayed that appointment due to other work that went beyond his expectations. At least two more times we have tried to set up the times for him to return to fix the problem. He has "no showed" once and then promised to call us back to set up another time and never called back. Frankly, (and sadly) we have given up on Mr. Pady. Our floor is not in the condition and appearance that he has provided in the past. He has been inconsistent in his commitments to rectify the situation and seems to be avoiding us. The cost of his service was too small to go to the trouble of litigating it or threatening small claims court to get our $200 back. We would just like the floor put back in the condition he has been so ably able to maintain in the past. Unfortunately, I must make this report and advise anyone who asks about him of what our latest experience has been.

I found Roger on Angie's List and based on the reviews I called him.  He came the next day to take a look at our floor.  The following day he attempted to repair the board by injecting glue.  He told us up front that there was a chance it might not work; however, this was the best route to take first.  We let the glue dry for 3 days; however, it did not resolve our issue.

I called Roger on Saturday and he promptly returned my call (even on a Saturday which was totally awesome.)  This was a holiday weekend to boot.  We were closing on our home on Tuesday and needed this resolved.  Roger came first thing Tuesday morning and removed and replaced the bubbled board (we did have spare boards).  He did an amazing job.  You cannot even tell there was ever a problem.

What a true professional Roger is.  And so very talented.  We highly recommend him to everyone!  I gave his name/number to my Realtor as well.  Thanks for saving the day for us Roger!

I can not say enough good things about this company.  Roger and everyone he had working for him were first and foremost very nice and so easy to work with.  Nice matters especially when you are working with a contractor.  REFLECTION FLOORS found a way to fix all of the problems with my floors and there were plenty of them.  I had dark stains, missing wood and gaps in between some planks and all of which Reflection Floors fixed.   They transformed the floors into a work of art.  Roger is very meticulous and detail oriented.  His helpers are just as nice and just as good.  All of them want to work and want to do a good job...that is so rare nowadays.  Wood floor refinishing is a true craft that only a well trained person can accomplish correctly.  Roger knows his craft.  I have dealt with about 50 contractors in the past few years and only REFLECTION FLOORS are the best.  Most contractors figure a way out of doing what you want or need and Roger and Reflection Floors is a "can do" company.  I will certainly use them for the rest of my house.  He also does tile and laminate which makes it a no brainer when hiring to do my kitchen.

Very happy with results.  Roger obviously enjoys his work.  When I am ready to lay wood floors in my office, I plan to contact Roger to do the work.

Roger is a perfectionist and treats your floor as he would his own.  He will not quit until he is satisfied with the repair work done.
He worked all day and into the late evening hours to complete the job, as he did not want to break the workflow continuity he felt was needed.  His initial estimate was to replace around 20 planks; but once into the job he saw the need to replace over 30 planks.  Although this added work was necessary for a first class repair, he stayed with the original quoted price for the job.  Wow!

Roger provided me with a free quote. After receiving three additional quotes, I decided to use Reflection Floors. One of the biggest deciding factors (beyond the competitive price) was the fact he is the owner of Reflection Floors. I knew I would not have to deal with a sub-contractor or middle man if I had any concerns.



He was able to schedule me sooner than I expected which worked great as I had an upcoming party and needed the work done quick. He and his assistant arrived on time as scheduled and knocked it out over the weekend which was surprising since one entire day was needed to float the floor and allow the float to dry. He took extra care to seal off the door way and cut the wood outside to avoid excessive dust. He worked with the bedroom window open so the smell of the glue was contained and he made sure to throw the scrap pieces of wood out the window instead of back onto the newly laid floor which I have known some floor men to do, which results in scratches and chips. He was courteous, worked non-stop the time he was there and always let me know the progress.



Six months later, I would still highly recommend him. It is evident he takes pride in his work! He knows the flooring industry, thoroughly answered my questions and was extremely courteous to me and respectful of my home.

Roger kept in touch and helped me with scheduling around family events.
They were on time, courteous and professional at all times.

and great ability to finish. They were persistent and uncomplaining, working until they
had created a beautiful floor.

Overall, the experience was excellent. They moved all of our furniture for us. The job was professionally done and they were very competitive on their pricing. The two brothers who did the job worked very well together and have years of experience; they've been in this business for 25+ years.We provided our own flooring, and they completed the installation.

Roger Pady gave me a free estimate and the price was very competitive with the other quotes I had received. He was flexible in scheduling my job very last-minute as I had guests arriving the week of Christmas. I cannot say enough about his kindness, knowledge and cleanliness. He hung plastic to keep the dust from getting to other rooms and also vacuumed before and after, disposing of all the old flooring. I never had to lift a finger from start to finish. By far the easiest renovation I have ever experienced. Highly recommended!
