Great! They showed up the day I called and promptly repaired my garage door.

I contacted the company by phone because our old garage door had cracks in some sections. A convenient appointment was made for repair. The representative, Jon, educated me on what was happening with our old, "builders-grade" door (metal fatigue, due to age). He told me that we needed a new door. The price he quoted seemed reasonable for the quality and style (a 16 X 8 plain, 5-panel, steel door) of the door that would be installed. An appointment was made for two days later, between 8 and 10 am. On the appointed day, Scott arrived at 7:45 am, ready to get to work. Everything was replaced, with the exception of the garage door opener: doors, rollers, tracks, supports, springs and the tube on which they are mounted, cables, and drums. No shortcuts - a heavy-gauge steel door and the rollers were upgraded from the manufacturer-supplied rollers to a sealed-bearing type of nylon roller, at no additional cost to me. By 11:45 am, the new door was installed and operational. It is quiet, and when disconnected from the opener, it can easily be lowered and raised manually. Scott answered all my questions in a friendly manner and to my complete satisfaction. All told, a very professional installation! When we need to replace the garage door opener, we will call this company again.

My garage door spring broke on a late afternoon. I called LW Garage Door and had it repaired by 10am the next day. The son of this family owned business came out to my location and had my spring repaired and the door tuned up in short order. Everything went as expected, this family business is exactly as advertised... professional, prompt, courteous, and they do high quality work at great prices. Repair went well and problem solved. Nice people and very prompt. When a second problem occurred later on, I used them again and they were just as prompt and competent as the first time. There were no problems and my garage door works perfectly now. I would definitely call them again for any garage door repairs!

I got an appointment quickly, he was prompt & professional. Replaced the rollers and carriage. It did not take more than an hour and it is running smoothly.

I called late in the day and they said they could make it that evening if it was urgent. I said that it wasn't and we agreed to a 7:00 a.m. appointment the next morning. The repairman was right on time, courteous, very competent, and helpful. He replaced both springs on the door with no problem. He also offered to replace the metal wheels on the door track with nylon ones for an extra fee, which we took him up on. The door is much quieter as a result. We feel we got a good value for our money and found a service provider we can recommend to others.

Called Lake Woodlands Garage Door, spoke with Brin. He had someone out within the hour. Scott was exceptional, professional and nice. He repaired and serviced the door. His explanation of what was wrong was in terms I understood. I have used this company in the past to have both springs replaced. Their prices are fair. Thank you for the quick response. I would definitely recommend this company.

Scott was very friendly and his description of additional services available were professional completely understandable. He informed the additional service was not required but would be helpful in noise reduction. Tuned the door up and added new rollers. The door is now is quieter than it ever has been. I would recommend them to anyone who asks about garage door service. SUPER pleased.

We had a torsion spring break on our garage door trapping our vehicles inside. Fortunately Lake Woodland Garage Door was running a discount special for Angie’s List customers for replacement of torsion springs and so I bought “The Deal” on line. To my pleasure, they had someone at my door a couple hours later. Scott was the serviceman and did an outstanding job. He was quick, efficient and willing to explain what he was doing. Scott replaced my springs with a product that was superior to the original parts and took the extra time to make sure everything was functioning properly. He was not familiar with my odd brand of garage door motor so he went on line to review how to adjust the travel distance (something I had not contracted or paid for). He went above and beyond “our deal” and made me feel really good about my dealings with Lake Woodlands Garage Door company. By the way, there is another company with a very similar name in the area and it can easily be confused. So, it you are in need of garage door service, make sure you are calling LAKE Woodland Garage Door. I cannot recommend this company strongly enough. I will definitely call them again should I need additional service.

We had an excellent experience with this company. Everyone we met, John, Scott, and Brin, were very courteous and professional. They responded promptly to our emergency situation, explained in detail the work needed and all the costs, and completed the work very quickly. We had a new and improved garage door by the next day. We highly recommend.

After my husband accidentally closed the garage door before closing the tailgate on his truck, our garage door appeared to be a crumpled mess that would probably require replacement. Our garage door now looks and works better than it did before the accident, due to the expertise and exceptional work of their service technician, Scott. He was a pleasure to work with, clearly explaining the problems and possible solutions, but what I loved most was his first comment when he saw the door: “I can fix this”. And he did an amazing job doing just that, saving me a bundle of money that I would have spent on a new door. He also adjusted the settings on the garage door opener so this kind of accident should not happen again. Garage door misaligned last night around 7. They actually answered the phone that night and made an appointment for the following morning. Showed up on time. Friendly. Confident. And only did what I asked (aka didn't want to replace the entire door and opener...just fixed it). Price was fair.

Lake Woodlands Garage door sent me someone the next business day and fixed my door for $300. The next best estimate was $1200 to replace the entire door. Lake Woodlands Garage doors did offer me an option to change the door at about $1000, but also said it can be repaired for $300. They did say that the spring is old and may need replacing in the next few years (gave an estimate of $185). They also suggested that I may have to replace the opener itself, as it is also coming close to its end of life. I appreciated the honesty and frank conversation with the service provider who laid out all the options and let me decide. Highly recommended.
