J&D Total Home Care

J&D responded quickly by text and phone to schedule an inspection for cost and work requirements. It was agreed to for the Sheetrock to be removed, insulation to be removed, carpet with padding to be removed, all trash hauled and disposed of, two mold killing treatments, a damage report, and a repair estimate to support my insurance claim. J&D completed the Sheetrock and flooring removal with all the material stacked in front of my home. The first mold treatment was done per the business owner, Mr. Don Wilkerson. From this point Wilkerson was onto other work. I called and text messaged Wilkerson several several times asking for the trash to be removed from my yard, asking when will the second mold treatment be done and where is my insurance report and repair estimates. The trash was finally hauled away, the second mold treatment was done and I got my insurance damage report. Never received a estimate to repair the damage. J&D Total Home Care and the Owner Don Wilkerson, never arrived on time at any appointment, even had a few to many no show days, even after agreed too plans confirmed the night before. Wilkerson has a real problem making his commitments and handling follow up work appointsments. To me this is a very unprofessional manner and no way to operate a business. I strongly recommend you seek a more professional contractor!

After no shows on promised dates of September 12th or 13th and no offered reschedule return date, I submitted a project cost review of work completed by J&D and the work J&D did not complete. I requested a refund of the uncompleted work, I even offered for J&D to submit their own idea of the money they did not earn but was paid. J&D replies have been that if I do the work or have another contractor do the work I’m in breach of the contract. J&D has “90 days by law to complete the work, what day do you want us to return”. J&D knows the mold problem has been taken care of by me, but they continue to refuse to offer a refund and hold to the statement we have 90 days and when what date do I want them to return. As a home owner I could not stand by and watch my property destroy itself and J&D does not respect that. I have firsthand experience with J&D Total Home Care, with the Owner Don Wilkerson and his office staff, I strongly strongly strongly recommend you avoid and share my story about this very nonprofessional and in my opinion dishonest business!!!
