Very pleased with rapid response to request. Same day service offered. Timely arrival. Office kept us informed of planned arrival. Took TV electrical panel back to shop for repair and brought it back and fixed TV same day. Would recommend highly.

Everyone with Excell TV was courteous and prompt with their responses. We are very satisfied with the service that we received. On time and courterous explained the problem and also the solution.  Very knowledgeable and had parts on hand at the time of repair. Completed the job at home less than an hour.  Our TV is working just like new! We would highly recommend this family business. Highly recommend will use again!

Within an hour of my call repairmen were at my house.  They dismounted my TV from the wall... to take to their shop for diagnosis.  Then they called with the diagnosis (that I needed a main board for my older TV)... and the price and explained their discounts for seniors and for Angie's List....and they said it could be delivered that afternoon and gave me a time frame.  When they were going to be 20 minutes later, they called to tell me they were on their way.
I had my TV by late afternoon and the image was beautiful.
Excell Electronics folks were all thoughtful, courteous, professional... and they did great and timely repair.  I am very pleased and am already telling my friends about them.

Everyone at Excell was knowledgeable, courteous and professional.  On the phone, the office staff understood the issue, provided a rough quote and looked up the parts and availability.  The price was very reasonable, and scheduling was easy. The gentleman that came out was on time (actually early but they called first to ensure it was not a problem) and he was very professional and very quick.  He even took the initiative to address a potential problem while he had the tv open based on his knowledge of that brand/model.  And he did not charge anything extra for the extra service/repair. 
I consider Excell to be one of those great finds and I will definitely use them again and will definitely recommend them to friends.

We would highly recommend this family business.

Deliverd TV to them, as it was only a Vizo 22 inch. They called back within a couple of days to advise that the power board had failed (unit only 2 years old!) and the cost including parts and labor would be $148.00. A replacement TV (not Vizo!) only costs about $50.00 more, so told them to recycle unit.
There was no charge for the estimate, where as all other companies wanted $50 to $75 to check it.
Excellent company.

As with most people we have heard bad experiences with tv repair companies.  We decided to use Excell TV based on the reviews on Angies's List.  What a great decision.  From the lady that answers the phone to the professionals that come to the house these are the best you can ask for.  They responded quickly to look at our 61" tv.  Gave a fair price quote, took the tv to the shop at no charge and returned it the same day at the price quoted less the Angie's List discount.  What a relief to find a honest professional company.  We highly recommend them.

I spoke with a few companies on Angie's List and all of them wanted me to pay to receive an estimate - except for Excell TV Electronics. This was the only company that would actually take apart the TV and give me an exact cost for repairs.  Dinorah at Excell TV Electronics explained that the motherboard needed to be replaced.  It was repaired within a week and now it is working perfectly.

7/20/2014 - Update. Not even a year after the repairs, my TV has lines and inverted colors. I should have just bought a new TV with the $300 I spent to have it repaired.

The television works great. The people there were very nice. I would use them again and would recommend them as well.

This TV was an inheritance from a deceased relative, and had been watched intermittently for the past few years.  When we brought it home, we found it flickered so badly that it was difficult to watch. We hoped to be able to fix it inexpensively, since it was the perfect size for our bedroom and had a built-in DVD player and flash card and thumb drive slots.  I was small -- 26" -- so we took it to Excell.  We had experience with them for our big family room TV before we became members of Angie's List and knew they were good.  They fixed our big TV a year ago for less than $300 when two other repair shops said it would be over $1000 to fix it.  Dinora, the lady who works the desk, said they would look at it and get back to us as soon as they could give us an estimate.  She called that afternoon and said the TV needed a new inverter.  They were going to try to find one that was not attached to the panel (screen) because it would be substantially less expensive that way, and the screen was working fine.  Next day, she called and said they had exhausted all their sources and could not find one that didn't involve the panel.  She recommended that we not fix it, since it was already six years old, and we could buy a new one, very similar, with more up-to-date technology, for about $200.  We elected to follow her advice and await a sale at a local store.  We heartily recommend these folks for their expertise and their honesty.

A power surge (due to loss of electricity, thank you Centerpoint) knocked out my big screen on July 4th.  I thought I was looking at a long weekend without my TV, but I called Excell and they came out on the next day, Friday.  It took about 30 minutes for them to determine the problem and replace the part.  The large cost was due to the price of the part.  I was very pleased with their service.

I have an older model Mitsubishi projection TV which is approximately 14-15 years old. After no problems at all over the years, a couple of weeks ago, the picture became warped and it cycled itself on and off. I called a couple of repair shops close by and found their customer service was lacking. I then called Excell and within the first minute of our conversation, I knew I had found the service provider I needed. They came out, informed me what the problem was, took the insides of the TV with them, and return a couple days later to complete the repair. The TV works like new now. The two gentlemen who handled the repair, Fernando and Antonio, were professional, efficient, and friendly as was Dinorah who works in the office. I'm very impressed with all aspects of this company.
