ELECTRICAL REPAIR & CONSTRUCTION

Although this is a small amount of money I'm still pretty angry. Rick sent one of his workers. Victor installed the one fan charging me $25.00 more than quoted by Rick, because this fan had a remote. He also installed a wall switch. On both these items, he did a satisfactory job. My frustration is that Victor also quoted a price to replace a pull chain switch in another fan (which I had previously purchased), took the fan apart, installed the switch and when he learned he had done the wiring incorrectly...he told us he can't spend all day switching the wires (there are only three) to find the correct combination and that we should buy a whole new fan. The ultimate though is that he then left leaving the fan disassembled and completely inoperable, including the lights which were working fine. A few days later, not wanting to play electrician, I did purchase a new fan, and against my better judgment called Rick to have him install it primarily so I could tell him why I felt ripped off in person. He promised to call me two days later when he would be in this area and did not call.
