D & K TRANSMISSION SPECIALTIES

When I arrived at D & K they were busy, but they got to me in a timely manner. I explained to Christopher, a very friendly and nice employee, what was going on with my car. He treated me courteously and as someone to be treated with respect. He asked me a few questions in regards to the oil leak (color, location) in order to help with the diagnosis. I dropped my car off at about 12pm. He called me at 5pm letting me know the cause of the air conditioning issue was in fact the blower motor as I suspected and that the reason for the oil weak was an improperly installed oil filter. The technician, I believe his name was Kevin or Keith, told me that I was very lucky that I brought it in when I did because I was extremely low on oil and I could have seized the whole motor. (I later took this issue up with the people who performed my last oil change.) When Christopher called with the work estimate he offered me three choices of parts so that I had some say so in the cost of my repairs. I was very pleased with this. I chose the mid-level parts. When I arrived to pick up my car the next day I was pleasantly surprised because the final total was actually less than the estimate given on the phone, which I've rarely had happen. When I received my car all problems had been corrected. It was a very positive experience. I have since noticed that the blower motor is still not working quite right, but I feel confident that they will fix the problem satisfactorily.
