Conroe Door & Hardware

Pablo did an excellent job of installation - spent several hours to adjust the existing frames to make a good fit. This was a tremendous improvement over the doors that were replaced. The quality of the doors was good and the price was reasonable. We were repeat customers so were warmly received when ordering in person.

Quality of door is very good.
The people arrived and installed the door. The door looks good and closes nicely.
They had their torque screw driver set too high and made dents on every screw setting on the frame. I tried to contact Conroe Door and Hardware twice, but they have chosen not to respond.
The is also a small 1/4" gap in the bottom of the door on the left side.
The pricing seemed a little high.


update  07/08/2015 Tried to contact them to resolve the door problem. They said send pictures which I did. They will not rspond; it has benn 2 weeks.

The guy who installed them was really nice.  The guy at the office was gruff and mostly rude.  They said the doors came "primed and ready to paint." I hired a painter, and reiterated Conroe Door told me they came primed, but there weren’t.  After painting the doors, the Sherwin Williams paint would not stick.  I called Conroe Door, and they said the painter should have known better!  Anybody using Conroe Door Fiber-Classic Double-Doors, needs to know that all their products do not come primed. We had to spend a whole day to strip the doors, a whole new day to re-paint, and additional costs for unexpected, and replaced materials.

We love the new French doors that were put in. They don't stick like the sliding doors, or warp like wooden doors. The work crew of two was very well mannered and worked straight through, until the job was finished. They took only one fifteen minute lunch break. Plastic was laid down to keep the family room as clean as possible. What mess there was they cleaned up and vacuumed the entire room.
