very pleased with the service. The serviceman came to my house at the
exact time he said he would be there. He was pleasant and courteous and
worked quickly. I am a single woman and I am constantly worried about
handymen, plumbers and mechanics taking advantage of me. I don't know
how to fix these things, which makes me very vulnerable to being taken
advantage of. He explained to me everything
that he was doing and how it would save me money. Another service man
would probably have told me I needed a new unit and charged me up to a
few thousand dollars. I wouldn't be able to afford that. This man, named
Ed Newby, was a genuinely nice.guy. He taught me about the hard start
kit and how it would make my house cooler and make the ac unit run
quicker while utilizing LESS energy. My house immediately cooled down
and the unit outside is much quieter than it normally is. Then he gave
me tips on how to make sure my ac unit lasts longer. Not only did he
save me money fixing my unit, I also will be saving money each month on
my electric bill.
It is so refreshing to deal with someone that
is actually trustworthy and looking out for the best needs of the
consumer. Like I said, as a single woman, I am at the mercy of these
"men" and I am so grateful I found someone that is going to fix things
correctly PLUS charge me the least expensive price. I looked up the
consumer prices of the parts, plus labor and the increased cost of
freon. I got a very good deal! And now my house is cool again. I highly
recommend Ed Newby and Allstar AC and Heating Services.
