The roof installation went well except for all the roofing nails and shingle pieces all over the yard. They dropped oil on my brand new driveway and oil on my brick walkway. After a few weeks my roof started to leak ,they came out and fixed it with some roof cement and said all fixed. Then after a month or so it started to leak again and even more then before. I cc'd called Addison Roofing and sent them pictures and text messages with no reply or call back. I now have damaged cathedral ceiling, water damaged painting and damaged 60's SGT PEPPERS POSTER and water damaged shiplap wood trim. Do yourself a favor and never call Addison roofing company. You will sleep better and save a lot of money.

Basically the work is shoddy. The owner calls his tradesmen and subcontracts them to do each scope of work. He promises you the world but never sets foot on the job. Everything is done through text messages. His company address is a mail drop and his office is his truck and cell phone. He doesn't know who does what on any of his jobs and just sits at home ordering things to be done by each workman. He doesn't make sure anything is done right nor does he check the jobs that are being done. He DOES NOT know anything about construction or how to do things as he has his trades to do that. Problem is that he depends on one guy to do all the misc. work and this guy has no idea what he's doing so he calls the owner to tell him how to do it. He never shows up to handle any problems that may arise on the job. He will not tell you the truth.
If there's a problem with say, the floor not being level to lay the tile properly, he says to the tile guy, do it anyway and don't worry about it. Now, the tile looks bad because it's popping up everywhere. If the sheathing is missing in the exterior walls, he tells them to just install the insulation right over it and not to worry about it. So now you have insulation right up against the outer brick which will breed mold and mildew in the future.
If a wall is built out of plumb and the granite is installed crooked, he blames the original builder. We had to pay the granite installers extra money to move the wall so the granite would be installed properly.
The trades leave trash everywhere including whatever they've eaten or drank that day and there is no one to clean it up but you. They leave paint, sheetrock mud and glue all over everything leaving you, the home owner, to figure out how to remove it from the surface.
On our job, the agreement was for us to pay all the trades separately and pay the owner his 20% to run and manage the job. He in turn took money from each of the trades on the back end so he would make more money. They complained to us that he was doing this but they needed the future work so they had to pay him. It was a running joke with all the trades that he never showed up on the job.
I would not recommend this guy to my worst enemy. I have since found out that there is a restaurant in College Station that he is in a lawsuit with.
I tried to point out the deficiencies on the job and questioned his performance in which I got a response of verbal abuse and expletives.
Response from

"The things this customer has posted are totally NOT true. This was a person who I thought was one of my friends and I went over and beyond to help her rebuild her mothers home which burnd down. I received nothing but praise from the customer and her family for the 5 months the projects was being ran. It was the last weeks on the job when I was trying to collect final payment from her when she started to advoid me and not answer calls before I ever know anything was wrong. I was on this job site every day or at least every other day making sure everythng was handled. On this project the home owner made direct payments to all subs and suppliers, so if at any time she had a problem, she had total control and could of held off payment until the problem was corrected. I later found out the member had set up her own corp and company and was making fraudulent claims to her insurance company in order to pay off the morgage on the home. She had asked several of my subs to write out extra invoices for work not done ! There still is an outstanding balance of $2162.60 owed on this job and if not paid I will be taking legal action to collect. I have been in business since 2005 and have an A rating with the BBB and that is because I do make sure that my customers are taken care of and happy with our work. 90% of our business comes from Customer Referrals."
