Bought a house and found leaks in plumbing. He didn't stop until it was fixed.

I first called Doug when my local plumber had an injury and recommended look in a neighboring town for another repair plumber. I called several different plumbing offices and only one had the courtesy to call me back within the hour. Doug was able to come out that evening and clear my septic drain with no issues whatsoever. Upon completion of the job, I had him look under the kitchen sink and ask if he might be available to repair/replace all the supply and drain lines under my kitchen sink and a new faucet. He gave a rough estimate with the stipulation that no major hurdles pop up. He said would prefer to do it in the AM since he will first come out, evaluate all that was needed parts wise and go pick them up. He was here as promised and even sent me a text to let me know him and his helper were on the way. As expected, he arrived and took his notes as to what he needed then explained to me all he was going to do. When he returned, he hopped to work and we were only without water for a short while. The intrusions were minimal and the only annoyance was from my kids wanting to watch and get in the way. He and his helper were extremely courteous to them. During the work, Doug let me know all he was doing and about future concerns about the high calcium build up in our lines. They worked quickly, efficiently, and cleaned as they worked. I was nothing but impressed with their professionalism!
The total came in a little higher due to issues unforeseen, just as he said might be the case, but well within what could be expected. After testing the lines and all the work was done, he walked me through the work completed and addressed any concerns and asked if there was anything else I might need or have concerns about. I had none!
I highly recommend Doug Powers to handle any and all plumbing needs. His work ethic, attention to detail, and professionalism should be highly sought after. He is the only plumber I have ever had tell me that he only does repair work and loves it.
--- Also, when scheduling the work, he told me that unless a customer has a leak or major issue, that my work
can wait since leaks are priority. I found that to bring my perception of his work ethic even higher than before then!

The water line to our toilet was leaking and we could not get it turned off.  I called Doug Tuesday and he said he could come at 3:00.He was there right at 3:00.  He said he could replace the line and repair the toilet.  The toilet tank had a crack in it and needed to be replaced.  He said he had a toilet that was like new that he would go and get so that I would not have to buy a new one.  He went and got it and installed it.   He is very professional and explained everything he did and what it was going to cost.  The final bill was exactly what he said it would be.   I would definitely use Doug again.  

We had an appointment scheduled with another plumber at 6pm at a new house we had purchased in Commerce. I got a call from that plumber at 4pm saying they could not make it because they were caught at another job and did not know when they would finish. We are still living in Dallas and had to move schedules and drive an hour to get here to meet the plumber.
I went to Angie's list and found Doug Powers with Powers Plumbing. I explained my situation and he told me he could be at the location within an hour. He was right on time.
I explained what I needed done, and he proceeded to get right to work and got our new sink, faucet, and disposal installed in just a little over an hour. He then fixed a leaking water line, that we had to have fixed prior to a new refrigerator being installed the next day. He had to make a quick run to get a part and fixed the problem exactly the way we wanted.
They were extremely professional, and did an excellent job on all that they did. They cleaned up after themselves and everything has worked exactly the way we wanted and expected. The best part was the cost was not near what I expected based on my experiences with other plumbers. It was very fair and reasonable. I felt I got great value for what I paid.
I will use Powers again and highly recommend them. Their responsiveness and the quality of their work was a breath of fresh air in the plumbing profession.

After learning that the tank was full, Doug recommended a septic pumper in Sulphur Springs who was also prompt and good. After the tank was pumped, Doug came back and attempted to run a snake through my lateral line. For some reason, he was not able to get the snake to go through the line and he thought it might be collapsed. It turned out to be OK.
Doug also replaced a couple of cleanouts for me.
He was fast, courteous and reasonably priced.

After thoroughly diagnosing and isolating the problem, Mr. Powers unclogged the toilet and gave good advice on how to keep it that way. He also gave me a reasonable estimate on future work that may be needed if things went terribly wrong with my sewer drainage system.

I thought the price was a tiny bit high.

I called Mr. Powers around 7:35 am. He answered the phone and I told him a pipe had broken around the meter and that water was pouring into my yard prior to me cutting off the water. He was able to come out very promptly and repaired the broken brass pipe and fitting within a short time (around an hour). He was extremely courteous, professional and obviously knew what he was doing. In addition, Mr. Powers explained to me what he found and how he was going to fix the problem. I will definitely recommend him to neighbors and friends and will call him for any future plumbing needs I may have.

I called and left a message. Doug returned my call right away and set an appointment. He was on time and professional.

I called Power's Plumbing to come and fix it the pipe. He (the owner) arrived in a timely manner and repaired the leak. I have used Power's Plumbing since the business opened and will not use anyone else. I also call Mr. Powers whenever the plumbing at my parent's home needs work Mr. Powers is also getting licensed in HVAC; as soon as he has the appropriate licensing for that I will use him for that service as well. He is the best plumber in the area, as well as being friendly, honest, and a man of high integrity.

The last job was repair of broken pipes under a house. He was there the same day I called him and had the job finished right the same day.
