They dug holes to receive 15 - "3 gallon" Boxwood bushes, placed a 'weed barrier' material over the prepared soil, covered that barrier with a mulch ground cover, added trim to enclose the entire bush bed, and laid Saint Augustine grass sod outside the trim where there was only dirt from the previously abandoned bush bed - all that in 95 degree heat.
    As on their previous job for me under sweltering conditions, they were hard working and diligent. Adam Rausch and Casey McKinney had previously removed some evergreen trees and overgrown bushes, ground the stumps to about 4" below ground level, tilled in the ground-up stump sawdust and some mulch, thus preparing the soil for planting something in the future.

David Rasisch and Casey McKinney arrived on schedule with their stump grinder. I showed them the job site and gave them some work instructions. They were successfully able to contend with 4 underground PVC sprinkler system pipes. When David realized the condition of the clay soil, he volunteered to buy several bags of mulch/fertilizer at no extra cost, and mulched them into the ground that the stump grinder had churned up. Casey was the grinder operator. He inadvertently damaged a surface-level city water cover. David bought a new cover and protective housing from Ace Hdwe., again at his own expense. They left the soil in 'nursery-ready' condition for some nursery company to plant new bushes and trees. I was amazed at how diligently they continued to work as hard as they needed to under a 93 degree sun until the job was done. I highly recommend them for the kind of work they did for me.
