Denise has been pet sitting for our golden retriever for 5 1/2 years. She has a huge heart and love for animals and we know he is always well cared for.

Amazing! Watered plants, brought in mail and Amazon packages. Turns on lights before we arrive if dark ... leaves notes about visits and all 3 dogs are always well taken care of... treats our babies like their own!

This company does an excellent job. They treat my babies like their own. Lots of love, treats and attention. I would (& have) recommended PL&P to others. Don’t know what I’d do without Denise.

I have been using Peace, Love, and Paws for several years now. Most of my trips away from home consist of 3-4 days, and once a year I go away for two weeks. Peace, Love, and Paws assured me, from their first visit with my kitties, that they would be in good hands. Denise, the owner, arranged for an initial interview prior to her first visit to meet my kitties and get a layout of the home, their food dishes, litter boxes, etc. I especially appreciate the text message she sends me with each visit to let me know that all is good with my kitties and my house. She is extremely reliable, and I appreciate her flexibility when last minute changes to the visits schedule come up.

Denise was very professional and attentative with my dogs. Took very good care of them.

She did wonderfully and really took the time to make sure the dogs were comfortable, ate fully and went outside.  This was her first visit with us and she kept us up to date with pictures and also confirmed their status with us to make sure that everything was ok.  It was our first time allowing anyone besides family to watch our babies and I couldn't have been more happier with how it turned out and I will definitley be using her again in the future.

The process was completely painless. When we got home the dogs were so happy and excited which tells me that Denise did exactly what she claims. Highly recommend for pet sitting.

 We found out a week before we were going out of town for seven days, that the pet sitting people we had always used were moving and closing their business.  This left us in somewhat of a bind to find someone to take over in such a short notice.
 
There were a number of recommended pet sitters available, but I decided on Peace Love and Paws as a first contact because of the location close to our home.  Contact was immediate, and Denise was able to come over for a visit when it was convenient for us, basically the next day.  

The meeting was such a success, we decided to use her services right away.  Denise is obviously an animal lover, she is very organized, professional (she volunteered all the documents desired, the Insured and Bonded card with current dates etc.), and showed a genuine interest in us as customers, as well as our cats.  She encourages good communication, and is overall a very pleasant person to be around.  Our cats also like her, not a given by any means.

For a week she came to our house in the morning, and evening (at the times that we had requested) to feed, change the water, clean the cat boxes, and check the cats.  She also opened and closed the blinds, left lights on as needed, checked the yard, picked up the mail and newspaper, and armed the house alarm when gone.  At least once a day, she would send a text letting me know how things were going with the cats, the weather affecting the house, (important for spring in Texas), and even an occasional picture of our cats.  Sometimes I would call her if I had a question, and she would answer immediately.  It is very comforting to have this kind of communication when far from home.  She also did an excellent job of keeping the food, and cat box areas clean.  We had no clean up to do like with previous sitters.

She was very fair in the pricing, it varies by time spent, and she would quite often round down a bit to save me some money.
There was a daily log that she left, with notes on what she did in the house.

We are so happy to have found Denise, and will use her for all our house / pet siting  needs.

Denise is wonderful! She did everything that I asked and more. She loves animals and that really comes through in the great measure of care and attention to detail that she provides for each client. I had never had a pet sitter that wasn't a close friend or family member but had to find some help with my two senior dogs since we are in a new city. Denise went above and beyond my expectations and I will definitely be a repeat customer. One of my dogs has bad acid reflux and will have great problems if she skips a meal. When she wouldn't eat one of her meals, Denise called me immediately to discuss different methods to try to get her to eat. She implemented all of my suggestions and thankfully got my dog to eat after spending extra time at my house. Thank you Denise! I was able to relax while out of town knowing my dogs were in great hands!

This was the first time we used Peace Love and Paws. Denise was wonderful with our two kitties, who love to be loved on, while we were out on vacation for the Thanksgiving holiday.  We really appreciated her giving them the attention they needed. We will certainly consider using her again. Thank you!

Denise came over about a week before we were to leave on vacation, to meet us and get acquainted with our 3 dogs. I immediately liked her. She was friendly, cheerful and had a kind way about her. The dogs all took to her right away and I knew she was a good match for us and our dogs. We were gone for 8 days on a cruise. Denise sent me an email every single day with a report and sometimes even a photo of our dogs, assuring us that all was well. One of our dogs sometimes makes a coughing sound when she gets stressed, and Denise even sent an email about that, asking if she needed to take her to our vet. We had Denise come 3 times a day - morning visit was 30min, afternoon 15min, and evening another 30min. When we returned home from our trip, we found several pages with a written report of each and every visit that she had made to our home, listing the times, the emotional state of the dogs, what they did, etc, etc. I can't say enough about how pleased we were with the entire experience. I had never used a pet sitter before and really never liked the idea. Now, since using Denise, I will be recommending her to all of our friends and family and will definitely be calling her again in the future! You will not find a more caring, loving or trustworthy individual to take care of your pets!! ?

Denise was on time, very nice, loved the dogs, and they loved her!  She paid attention to details and I didn't have to worry about my dogs while I was gone.

Denise met with me and Oscar and Hannah to get to know them. She asked lots of questions about the food they eat, time Of day they eat, favorite toys, where they like to hang out and behavior. She was very thorough in getting a complete picture of my two babies. While I was gone she wrote daily reports about her visits and provided a daily update by text as well. She cleaned the litter box daily and gave them fresh food and water and even brought in my mail for me. Oscar is not very trusting of people and he just loved her. I will definitely use her anytime I need pet sitting services. My mother now uses her as well.

She is terrific and the cats loved her.

The service Denise provided was amazing! I loved that she came over to the house to meet our dog Max before the service was provided. It gave me such peace of mind that he was being taken care of by someone with such a kind heart and love for animals. She sent text messages after each visit which I so appreciated.
