I arrived and asked for just an oil change and filter change. i requested a specific brand and grade of oil. I was astounded by the cost of the service. They did a review of all of the possible service items they could possibly do. They recommended a brake system flush as well as the oil and filter change which I refused as the brake system had been flushed and refilled by the dealer less than 10,000 miles ago. When I paid the bill I found out that they had charged me $14.00 as a "bottled oil up charge".
What went wrong:
1. They did not tell me when I requested just an oil and filter change that all they offered was a "Full Service Oil Change".
2. They did not tell me that there would be an "up charge" for not using their bulk oil.
Needless to say, I will look for an alternative oil change service provider next time or go back to doing it myself.

I called the place that I used to take my car for 20 years in Houston and they were about the same price. I think the world of them. The price was good. I just drive in.
