contractors, handyman service, remodeling, interior painters
 + 2 morekenneth was hired to do a remodel job and did not come close to completing the work. He said he ordered the cork and tile flooring as well as the iron railings and stair wood. He said all materials were in and needed to be paid for so I wrote the check and as it turned out he had never done any of it. He came with references and I checked everyone of them. He stole over $10K and left me with a house with wires hanging from the ceiling and concrete floors. We have lived that way for months as I have tried to save more to complete this job. Mr Collins lied repeatedly and was very unreliable.
Description of Work: Mr Collins was to demo the hardwood that was on the walls, pull out carpet, make repairs, install cork and tile flooring, remove popcorn from ceiling, install lights and ceilings fans and paint the inside of the house. He demoed the wood off the walls, pulled out the carpet, removed some popcorn from ceilings and painted a little bit. He said he ordered the cork and tile flooring, but did not. He said he ordered iron rails for stairway, but he did not. He did install 4 ceiling fans and one three lights. His painting was terrible as he used enamel on the walls so now they shine.
