University Flowers

Ordered flowers for a co-worker that had been ill and wanted to surprise her with a welcome back bouquet. Ordered online and upgraded from a $39.95 basic bouquet to their "Premium" $59.95 bouquet along with a balloon. The bouquet came in and the flowers were missing petals, wilted, had brown spots and it was sparse. Called them and the guy that answered said he did the arrangement and it was fine but he would send out a replacement but no balloon. So I emailed the owner and have not gotten a response. The replacement came and it was not much better, certainly not $59.95 better. I will never use them again

My husband ordered flowers from University Flowers to be delivered to me on 6/24/2010. A women, called and left me a message to call her back to see if I would be home. I called her back and she was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. She asked me how to get to my home from St. Joseph's. I told her I didn't know because I moved here a month ago and she was so rude about it and laughed at me because I didn't know how to get to my home from St. Joseph's. I told her how I usually get home because she asked and she just was so demanding that I tell her how to get to my home. How do they operate a flower shop if they don't know how to get to the customer's homes? Doesn't that ruin the entire surprise of receiving flowers if you have to call the recipient and ask them when they will be home and have them tell you how to get to their home from wherever the driver is? I have NEVER been treated so rudely by a company providing a service. I hope that the company can improve their service so others do not have to be treated as poorly as I was and as rudely as I was. Completely unprofessional!
