The walls look like new when Danny and his crew get done, and if something is not right, they will work on it until it is.
The Painting Company is the first group I call when I have an interior repair needed on ceilings or walls. If they don't do the work themselves, they always know who does the type of work required and give me the best referrals.

The work was excellent and punctual. I think in my case I had very experienced employees that had been with this company for a long time. I didn't see a drip of paint on anything it wasn't supposed to be on. Before going with this company I had seen interior work that had been done. It looked well done. I usually interior painting myself. The only con would be that I had to wait a while before the work could be done, but I wasn't in a hurry. In fact I had put it off. And I made it clear I was really not in a hurry he could work me in at his convenience. Different times of year are very busy in this town because it's a college town. I would absolutely use this company again.

They showed up and gave a fair assessment. When I told them I wanted something right away, their availability kind of dropped off from there.
Response from The Painting Co

"I personally have not taken a look at this job or given it an estimate. Angie's List said it was another company that got confused with me."

Use this painter only in extreme painting emergencies! I only hired a painter because my recent back injury would not allow me to physically do the work. Since Mr. Andrews had done such a good job painting the entire interior of our rent house several years ago, I hired him again.
This company's work has changed for the worse, though: maybe it is that his current crew needs much more careful supervision. The lad who was here showed up late, took long breaks, complained when urged to make exact paint lines along the moldings, neglected to bring his own caulk gun and other basic painter's equipment, was hurried and very sloppy, and consistently refused to take responsibility for his own mistakes. At the end, the job was somewhat satisfactory, but there are still drips and runs, paint in places where it shouldn't be, paint all over equipment which they borrowed from me, and sloppy trim lines the moldings and trim. The painter eventually, after I repeatedly pointed them out to him and Mr. Andrews, did get most of the paint splatters removed from our newly refinished hardwood floors, and had the and quot;courtesyand quot; to inform me of what chemical product to use for removing the rest. I was worn out from asking from having to supervise the painter myself and having to practically beg for the semi-adequate clean-up that they eventually performed.
When compared with the adjoining master bath which I had painted myself, using exactly the same paints and with the same moldings, etc., this work just doesn't look professional, especially when the amateur homeowner can do much better work herself. Iwas worn out just from supervising him.
I will NEVER use this company again. for interior painting. Perhaps for exterior work, and only at the rent house, but I doubt it.

"I'm very sorry you were upset with your painting job. I do not recall you having any complaints at the time. Just for future references, that employee no longer works for me so you should not have any future problems."

Danny Andrews was friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, confident, and positive from our first meeting when he came to assess my painting needs. If I were going to choose a painter based on relationship ease, he would have been my choice. So I was very pleased when his bid was the lowest of three interviews I conducted.
It took a few weeks to get our schedules co-ordinated, but once his team was on sight, progress was speedy. He frequently consulted me to make certain I was pleased, would make suggestions at decision points, yet listened and adapted to my ideas as well. He seemed perfectly comfortable working with a woman, and even resolved a neighbor's complaints with ease. Landscaped areas were protected and cleanup thorough. And the paint job, complete with repairs, is beautiful.
