T.G.I. Vaughn, Architect

Mr. Vaughn was recommended to me by a friend I trust, so I called the number given to me. Within about 90 seconds talking to Mr. Vaughn, I began to realize I was in way over my head. I have a feeling Mr. Vaughn knew I was in over my head in about 10 seconds, yet still treated me with dignity and respect. Mr. Vaughn was able to take a flood of information, and after asking a few questions, he designed the forever home of my dreams. (Seriously - that master bathroom is so amazing, I may never leave!) This is a house I can grow old with (which was the intent). Through it all, Mr. Vaughn was gracious, patient, kind, and knowledgeable. He took a flood of questions and walked me through the questions, making sure I understood what I was asking AND providing documentation from all points of view, allowing me to make up my own mind. He's been invaluable throughout this whole process, and I cannot imagine anyone else putting up with me, and still delivering the highest quality work.

Architect Tad Vaughn takes his work seriously, very professionally and personally. He visited the construction site to inspect on his own. But he did not charge any. I feel very happy and fortunate to have him as my architect and Danny Borski as my builder. I can confidently state that the key point to build a good house is to have a good architect and the builder. This combination also reduces cost appreciably in construction, hassles during construction and in maintenance as well. To build a house on a land of $100,000, it does not make any sense not to add just a couple of thousand dollars on a good architect. To be a professional building designer, one needs to study the discipline for several years. I know few homeowner friends who did not realize this simple fact. I found one to repent for his own bad design and two having difficulty in selling their houses.
Tad is the number one architect and Borsky is the number one builder in Bryan/College.
