Very responsive, very good communication. I enjoyed and trusted the workers they sent.
Description of Work: They had to rebuild a second story balcony that was leaking into my kitchen. They did a very good job; my only complaint is they didn't finish repainting the part that they rebuilt, but structurally it seems to be very sound.

Stearns began work and removed siding that needed to be replace. He stopped work claiming he needed to find a supplier for the replacement siding. After 4 months, after several phone calls, he then demanded that I pay twice the original bid in order for him to start work again, in spite of us having a contract. I found another contractor who completed the job for the original estimate. I filed a small claims court complaint and won a judgment, but Stearns has refused to pay. I will be hiring a lawyer to collect this money.

I have never been a fan of the expression that you cannot please everyone. It is our goal to exceed the expectations of every one of our clients. Unfortunately, we failed with the member. There is a great deal unstated and misstated in the member report. But the fact is that we were unable to please him and we see that as our failure. Luckily this is a very rare occurrence for our company. One of the reasons for this is that we have third party surveys conducted of our completed projects.
