They took good care of our dog, who wasn't on his best behavior at the time. We could see on a webcam how much time Norman spent with him to earn his trust.

My dog was happy...no complaints.

Sassy's could not take my two dogs on short notice and other factors but the owner went out of her way to give me names and numbers of other services that could assist me and I was able to find someone to help me. I very much appreciate the willingness to help me out. It is obvious this lady cares about helping find good care.

My 50 lb. mixed breed dog has boarded here several times, 4-6 days at a time. She always comes back unstressed and in good condition. She typically does well in boarding situations.
Sassy's Place also does grooming but I haven't used those services.
They have a fenced/gated property so call before dropping off or picking up so they can unlock the gate for you. Kennels have indoor/outdoor runs. Cats are boarded at a separate location.
They also ask you to bring your own food so changes in diet aren't a problem. They also recommend bringing something from home that the dog is familiar with - bedding, T-shirt you have worn, toy. They take the dogs out some during their stay but keep them on a leash until they are familiar with the dog, then they may allow the dog off leash in the fenced/gated area. Kennels are clean and flea free.
