On Top Roofing

Job was done ok but was not cleaned up and they would not come back so we had nails and wood left behind

Then it leaked and we cannot get them to come out and fix

Judd Allen has done work for me over many years.  He has done at least 3 full roofs on my home over the last 30 years.  All were good jobs except for the last - one part of the roof leaks every time it rains.  He has come over to try to find the leak, but it has never been repaired for it still leaks.
I don't know what has happened to the professionalism and follow-through within the last few (5 years).  Last summer  (2011) Judd approached me about purchasing electric attic fans to lower the electric bill that had risen sharply.  They had 3 year warranties on them.  Before I would purchase I made sure he promised that he would inspect the fans each year to make sure they were working properly.  My husband and I have called this spring at least 15 times over a 2 month span, leaving messages or not being able to leave a message due to a full voice mail.  He has never responded.  The attic fans are all either not working or run continuously (they are suppose to be temperature controlled).

They seemed like such professionals.  They explained what was wrong, came promptly, and performed the work.  I was so happy...until the next big rain came.  Then, the house flooded, sheet rock has holes in it, and no one will return my calls or emails.  Maybe they went out of business?  The worst part is that they have been paid in full, and they said the work was warranted....but, the warranty is only as good as the company behind it.  Watch out for this one!

They were very professional and efficient, and they got the work done in a timely manner. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

It was fine and I would recommend them. They did a good job and were very responsive. They were there when they said they would be and did what they said they would do. I didn't have any comparison because I haven't had any roofing work done before. It seemed a little high but I don't know.

The owner comes highly recommended and is very smart. Some people call him the forensic roofer. He understands roofing from an engineering point of view. He is the go to guy if you have a particularly nasty problem.

Everything turned out perfectly. We were very happy with him.
