Home Building
Oakwood homes faultily overstated the square footage of the home by 150 square feet when signing the contract. The home appraised for $43,000 less than the asking price. They violated this and two other clauses on the contract which states that the earnest money is to be returned. Oakwood Homes would not come down on the price and would not refund the earnest money. Legal action is pending for return of earnest money.
