My son Jerome and I are the owners and operators of the business and we are the only two technicians that will come to your home. I have just completed 41 years in business in Bryan and College Station. Your time is valuable to us so we make sure we arrive at the scheduled appointment time.

Jim has retired. Jerome said we needed a new control board for our dishwasher and said he order one. After 6 weeks of various excuses, he said he could not get the board and offered to refund the charge for the service call. He did not refund the charge. The phone is not answered and the voice mailbox is full. Jim was a five star repairman. Jerome gets one star. We will find another appliance repair service in the future.

Jim quickly found the problem - the connection to the defrost heater had come loose - and fixed it. The fridge works great now. He also took the time to explain what was wrong and show me how to remove and replace some shelves in the freezer that I had never figured out how to remove. We also mentioned in passing that we had been having long-standing issues with our icemaker, and he quickly explained what the problem was and how much the parts would cost to fix it. Jim is very knowledgeable.
I was extremely pleased with how quickly he was able to come, the reasonable cost for a repair call, and his professional demeanor. I will definitely call him in the future.

I left a message and got a call back the next day. They were able to get out to the house within a day. Found the source of the leaking water and fixed the dishwasher. Requested an evaluation on the washer and dryer. After the inspection it was decided not to fix them due to the cost of the repair. Would definitely call them again as they showed up within a reasonable timeframe and the price was fair.

We called Jim because our dishwasher was not working at all. We arranged a time with him - an exact time (1 pm) not just a time period (like 1 pm to 5 pm). This in itself is very rare these days! Jim arrived exactly on time. Within a few minutes he had diagnosed the problem, and even had the needed parts with him He completed the task in just about an hour. Our dishwasher now works perfectly!

Jim promptly returned my call and asked for a description of the problem with my washer. He concluded that the problem was most likely a faulty drain pump, a part that he had in his inventory. His earliest appointment was for three days after the call. Jim arrived on time and began to work immediately. He listened to the grinding noise in the washer agitation cycle and said it was due to the faulty drain pump. He had the part in his truck and installed it quickly. He was very precise and tidy. He showed me the problem in the faulty pump. Without hesitation he also fixed the drain pipe attachments to the washer and the drain outlet by adding a clamp and a zip tie at no additional cost. He was professional polite and easy to talk to. His 30 plus years of experience is evident. I highly recommend him and would use his service in the future.

He didn't fix anything, and I won't use him again. He came out and told us that there were major things wrong with the washer. He said it wouldn't be worth it to fix it. I used someone else, who actually fixed our washer. I feel like he just took us for the $85. He didn't do anything, but look at it. The person who did fix it only charged $45. for the call. The overall experience and the price were poor. He did come out when he said he would. He did have one of the higher ratings on the list.

Jim immediately returned my call from my message, made an appointment to come by and check the refrigerator, and was prompt in his arrival. He had to remove the freezer (which is on the bottom) and work in the refrigerator to determine the problem, melted frost that had built up, and cleaned up everything. He said he would look up what the part would cost and call me the next day. He called me the next morning with the part amount and the labor amount and said he would have the part in a couple of days, so we set a date for him to return. He arrived punctually, replaced the part, and put everything back the way it was. He even put up with our cat trying to help him. Real easy-going and professional guy. It cost what he said it would cost.

We had him come out and look at a Maytag dryer. After he advised us of the issue and cost, we ended up making the fix ourselves. He showed up on time and was very professional. He also provided the costs up front, which was appreciated.

We saw Jim on Angies list. Our daughter lives in condo in BCS. He met and exceeded all our expectations. Took time to explain about the characteristics of our particular machine and even gave recommendations as to what soap we should use for the local water conditions. We will definitely use him for all appliance repair needs.

I call him, and he goes to our townhome and completes the work and I pay him over the phone and he sends an invoice. He makes it very easy and convenient for me. He is a very pleasant, nice man. He is trustworthy.

"I explained to the customer when she called in the second time that there would be a second trip fee since it had been more than 30 days since the first service call. My labor warranty is for 30 days. As far as the part price goes; I use only the exact original manufacturer parts. Sometimes a replacement part can be ordered from a supply company that costs much less than the original equipment manufacturer part. It is up to the customer to take a chance on one of those parts if they want to; however, I choose not to use the cheaper parts since I warranty the parts I install for 90 days."
