Final Touch Roofing & Remodeling

We highly recommend Final Touch Roofing of Rosenberg TX.  We obtained 5 bids from carefully pre-screened well-established companies, 3 of them in the Brazos Valley and 2 from the Houston area, for re-roofing our 39 square house in Bryan.  We wanted a warranty, and were willing to pay a little extra if the contracted company provided insurance for their roofers, which Final Touch and at least 2 others did. Final Touch’s bid for $9,250 was right in the middle of the five bids we obtained, their representative came out promptly after I called them the first time to measure the house, gave me a firm, legally binding bid on the spot, agreed to find and use a specific color and type of high quality shingles (GAF Timberline HD Birchwood) that were not even offered by the manufacturer for this region of the country (I made a number of phone calls to follow this up), which Final Touch special ordered without complaining, then scheduled and completed the work quickly, and did an excellent cleanup.  We needed the unusual shingle color to coordinate well with the unusual brick color on our house.  They also replaced several pieces of rotten decking, re-flashed the chimney, corrected some fascia problems, replaced the drip edge, vent flashing, ridge vents, and installed a new, and much larger attic fan, at no charge on the condition that I provide the fan, which I did.  Their warranty specifies utilization of 6 nails per shingle to meet special insurance requirements for the Gulf Coast.  The shingles, valley cuts, roof hips, vents, drip edge, overhang and ridge vents are perfect in alignment and general appearance.  The house looks fantastic.  We’ve had many hard rains since they left, including those generated by tropical storm Bill, and I have been unable to find any sign of any leak anywhere in the attic.  We could have gotten it done cheaper but also could have paid a lot more and are very happy with our decision to go with Final Touch.
