Excellent. Came on a weekend. about 30 minutes after we called. He called first. Diagnosed the problem, fixed it (cost effectively) and had me up and going in no time.

We moved into our house almost one month before the sewer backed up in the downstairs toilet and bath tub. Of course this happened during the last home A&M football game of the 2013 season. We called several plumbers and although a couple of them said they were 24/7, during football games, this must not apply. Ed's Plumbing answered and said their guy was already on another job and had one more person before us. We had to wait a few hours, but the serviceman showed up at 8:00 pm and cleared it out.
We couldn't find the cleanout access pipe outside and he was only able to work from the inside.
It started acting up again about a week later and we called again. They came right out again and suggested we might need to have the line scoped with a camera, so we set that up. They came out again and searched for the cleanout pipe, finally found it, scoped with the camera and determined we had a crushed pipe. The service man told me he had good news about our crushed pipe that needed to be replaced....it was the city's pipe and they would have to come out and make the repairs no charge to me! He even called the city and had them come out to verify while he was still there with the camera.
I think the technician who came out two of three times was Sean. He was very professional and competent.

Functionally good work. Not the best job I have ever seen but good, functional repair for a very reasonable price.

Ed Phillips Plumbing is pricey but okay. They come when you call them and they definitely meet my expectations. They did exactly what they were supposed to do, they were clean, and they were efficient.

Although the job probably turned into a much bigger pain in the neck that any of us imagined, they stayed until it was done, and one young man stayed behind to clean up their work areas.  They were polite, respectful and efficient.  I will use them for non-warranty work in the future a well!

Postponed several times because of rain. Took longer than they thought because of the drive way and the depth of the whole they had to dig.

He took off the fixture, put a temporary one on, and we didn’t see him again.  He hasn’t even billed us.

He did a good job. Because this happened on the weekend and after hours I think his price was reasonable. I will use him again in the future.

They are the best plumber in town. I have used him for over ten years. When they come in for one thing and I find something else they will do it. Essentially they say I have them for an hour, what do I need help with. They will fix whatever needs to be fixed and look at whatever needs to be looked at. I had a tile job done and they did all the plumbing. They fixed a problem where if I turned on one shower it would freeze out the other one. They are absolutely wonderful people and I can't say enough about them. I?ve had other estimates and they are always right on target. They are very professional and I will absolutely continue to use them.

We needed a tub faucet and showever valve replaced. We bought the fixture at the local big box store and arranged for Ed Phillips plumbers to install. The first problem was that the phone crew did not provide the plumbers with adequate information and didn't allow for enough time. The 2 plumbers (a master and journeyman or apprentice plumber I'm guesing) were prompt, clean, courteous and professional. They did the install but there was a problem with the new fixture causing hammering. They thought it was a fault with the fixture so I contacted the manufacturer and a week later, when the new part arrived they reinstalled the part. It didn't solve the new hammering problem and after the plumber spent a long time on the phone with the manufacturer, it was determined that the new fixture had a valve made from one material and the old fixture specs used another type that could handle our city's high water pressure. So another week went by waiting for the part to arrive and another visit from a plumber later. All this time we couldn't use the hall bathroom. The 3rd time, however, the plumber was not professional, clean and courteous and we got charged for the third visit. He was scary. The fixture still hammers if you turn on the hot water "too fast" and the caulking job was poorly done. They said it would be another 3-400$ to install a whole house pressure regulator to permanently fix the new hammering problem, which didn't happen until they installed the new fixture. Whe I called to complain about the additional service charge I got a lame answer about it being the 3rd visit. Which was not my fault. And basically we ended up with a new problem that we didn't have before - pipes hammering. We won't be using them again. We may still install a whole house pressure valve thingy but, will hire another plumber to install it. Overall, what went from a generally positive experience starting out ended up being a bad one that we won't be repeating.

The first pair of gentlemen who came to evaluate the water heater were professional and polite. Very efficient in figuring out the problem, and recommending we turn off the hot water and the electrical supply. We had a little difficulty getting scheduled, but the company worked with us to get a good time. The second pair who came to replace the water heater were also professional and polite and very good at their jobs. No time wasted, and cleaned up after themselves. The job was performed quickly and without much fuss on a VERY hot afternoon. Certainly MUCH easier than handling the replacement ourselves.
