Failed to diagnose the issue.  Overcharged.  Another company diagnosed the problem.

Climate Doctors had put this unit it, and they've been there for us whenever we've had to have service. They came and installed the part the day it arrived and had the work done really quickly. We haven't had to called them back since. In fact, we've never had to call them back to redo any work they've completed. Once they fix it, it's fixed. I appreciate that so much. The servicemen are always friendly and knowledgeable, and seem to be very efficient.

I did not have a good experience with them at all. They use to be Climate Masters; they changed their name to Climate Doctors. I was not happy with their service at all. I was so disappointed with them; I went with someone else. Within a year, the compressor went out and they would not acknowledge that it was the compressor and they had the utility company come out and change the transformer on our pole. We have three separate controllers on one unit. It was not baffled properly, some of the rooms were hot, and some were cold. I do not think that we will ever get it adjusted right because of the bad installation. They do not provide the service that they bid out. I was supposed to have an air filter on my air conditioner and I do not have it. It was not in the original bid, so they did not include it. The people that were working for them were wondering in around in areas of the house and yard that they were not supposed to be in. It did not seem to me that they were capable of servicing their installation. We purchased a TRAN that should not have had any problems. Initially they responded well, once we started having problems they would not respond at all.

Very professional. Complete evaluation of our needs and matched the equipment and system to our residence. Rerouted duct work and return airflow to maximize the efficiency of the system. Did not try to oversell us on things we didn't need, but allowed us options to maximize efficiency.

They are excellent people, respond quickly, and they take care of any problems or questions you have. When they did the service for us, it was cool weather. So when the warm weather came along, the AC needed some attention. They weren't operating because they couldn't be tested in the cold weather. They came out immediately and took care of both houses. I want to highly recommend them!

The just does not work right and they will not do anything about it. I will continually run for hours and hours and won't shut off but they say nothing wrong with it. He claimed to be a christian man he talked to me about the bible and such that is why I went with him but I wouldn't trust him for nothing now. They took my phone calls and listen and they don't do anything. They send someone out and everyone always say they are going to do something but they never do anything. When they send someone out they are on time. I will give them that.

I was impressed with our initial consultation and received a bid for the work required. The bid was not the least expensive but I felt like Mr. Wren knew what he was talking about and choose to work with him. When the renovation started I was contacted at work and told that the technician would not be able to get started ,that there were dead animals around the yard and he would not go in the house. I rushed right home to see what was going on and found that he was talking about my husband's collection of weathered cow skulls. These skulls were hanging up in our shed, several hundred feet away from our house; my question to the technician was and quot;why are you looking in my shed and not working on my house??and quot; Hummmmm ... After that our business relationship went down hill so I will summarize:

1) They did not install an ionic air filter as quoted.
2) They installed the drain for the AC unit RIGHT in front of where you put the air filter so now I have to fold the filter in half to get it into place.
3) They instructed the electrician to install the wrong gauge wire for the unit.
4) The compressor on our new 5 ton Trane unit went out in just 2 years. Even though it was still under warranty, they used a reconditioned part, which started throwing the breaker after a few weeks. When the technician came back to see what was going on, I was told to contact the Utilities company and have them replace the transformer on our power pole. They said it was not big enough for our new unit and that was why it threw the breakers. I will say that after the third call to them, they sent out a new young man. He promptly replaced the compressor again and we have not had any problems after that.
5) I bought the additional 5-year warranty and service contract. They came out once to service the unit and then never again.

I know that my work was done a long time ago but I have never come across the proper forum to publish my experience with them. I have had other friends that have had more recent work done with less than satisfactory results. Climate Masters is now known as Climate Doctors. Don't be fooled. They are the same people.

Air conditioning went out (it was 102F that day). They worked me into their schedule and called me when they were on their way to my house. Checked out the air conditioning unit and determined that the breaker had been thrown then determined that the condenser was pulling too many amps. Washed the coils and then re-checked and determined that was the problem. Could easily have sold me something that was not necessary but did not. Polite and cordial.

Went above and beyond my expectations with respect to getting me pricing and overall installation information before I selected them to do the work. They were very good about communicating with me before, during and after the installation process.

I saw them on a commercial and they had a coupon so I decided to use them. They were professional. I didn't have anything to compare the price to. They either came that day or the next day and they came first thing in the morning.

I was not in town when we used them. My roommate was here. He said it went alright. They charged $120. There was a difference in fees between different services. My system seems to be functioning just fine. He did what he told me he would do. As far as I can tell, my unit is fairly old and he told me no more information about it than I expected. I will use them in the future.

The ductwork in our attic was in bad shape, and we got a few estimates for repairing and/or replacing it. The person who came to give the estimate was thorough and knowledgeable. We decided to use Climate Masters for the work, and they came with several workers and finished the work in about one whole day. Everything was done well, no shortcuts, and they thoroughly cleaned up afterward. The only (very minor) negative is that we had set up a date for the work, and they called that morning to reschedule for the next week. However, it was probably better that they waited until they had a full staff anyway, rather than trying to do the project with fewer people or sick workers.

The work cost me $270. They are very reliable and very prompt. I think they are very professional when they come out. They explain things to me. They are very good about getting parts in on time. They don’t bill you until the job is completed. They wait until the job is done. I appreciate that very much. I will hire them again in the future.

Richard came out and looked over the two Trane systems. He recognized the system as one they installed two years ago. As the house has not been lived in - this was the first post installation inspection. He said, "The systems are fine, however there are some minor installation issues we need to adjust. We will handle these at no charge as we did the work originally." Climate Masters has been servicing my existing home (and 1988 vintage Trane system) for about ten years. On one occasion the motor that runs the compressor outside started to loose the bearings and was making an awful racket. Richard was dispatched and was able to help jury rig a solution to hold us over until the replacement motor arrived (being an older unit this part was not in stock locally). He was able to come out and replace the motor a few days later. Total cost was under $250 including after hours service fee. They could have told me the compressor was shot and I would have been out thousands of dollars, but that is NOT the way these folks operate. I trust them and I will use them and recommend them to all who ask.
