The leak has been problem for years. We have had contractors, plumbers, and tile pros all weigh in on the potential cause. We have spent hundreds of dollars trying different solutions to no avail.mthe next and quot;fixand quot; was going to cost a little over $2,000. At this point we didn't want to guess at the cause and we felt we needed a definitive answer before spending more money on a guess, educated though they may have been. The leak detection guy came on time, was polite and professional. Approximately one hour later we had our answer. Unfortunately, it was not good news and we have to have the shower pan rebuilt. But, at least we had a cause. I would recommend this business.

The manifolds at the water heater and the under the hall bathroom lavatory sink were re-configured to accept the new line. A new and frac34;” PEX line was run from the water heater, which is located in the garage, through the attic space and down the hall bathroom interior wall, and re-connect to the manifold underneath the hall bathroom lavatory sink. A shut valve was installed at the water heater, in order to be able to turn the newly installed line off, if needed. The new line was insulated, as well as, secured in place completing the repair. It took 5 hours to complete this task.
Only thing I did not like was on leak detection day, the guy injected air in the system (water line) as a result water started to come up through master bedroom floor. It took 3 days for carpet to dry out.

Jonathon arrived on time, was very professional and extremely thorough. He tested our plumbing inflow and outflow for leaks. Jonathan explained everything he was doing and answered our questions happily. Jonathan was here for about 4 hours. He explained that when an insurance company is involved in a case, he is required wait a full 30 minutes to perform each part of the testing.

Though we didn't have any leak issues, I would have seriously considered American Leak Detection to do the plumbing repair

The representatives of American Leak Detection have been absolutely incredible. The leak detection, the repair to include injecting Hydrophobic foam and stapling the pool walls, and their recommendations for making the pool look like knew were spot on.
Bryan, the gentleman who determined the leaks were cracks in the pool wall, and Jonathan, the gentleman who actually repaired the cracks, were both very professional, responsive, on time every time, and delivered exactly what they said they would. Even the young lady who makes the appointments was beyond compare. What an awesome experience - I highly recommend this company.

They spent a lot of time working. Even though they devoted a lot of time working, they did not charge me. They did not charge me because the leak problem could not be resolved.

The amount of money spent also included the work done on October 31st (Halloween). Previously, a date had been set for work to be done a couple of weeks later but another problem arose unexpectedly. All the work, including the "Halloween Surprise" was preformed with extreme professionalism. The tech/plumbers were friendly and did everything to perfection. The scheduled job was completed within the time frame given. The scheduled work included tunneling under the foundation, and when the job was finished, everything was cleaned up and no one would have ever known that any work had just been preformed there. We couldn't have been more pleased.
