Service and response were excellent. I assume it was a little pricey, but I will pay that for the expertise and wonderful service. Would highly recommend this company for any garage door repairs.

They came by late afternoon the day after I inquired about the issue. Were in and out in less than an hour. Replaced broken spring with two. Was a little more than I wanted to spend but they were fairly punctual, communicated well and appear to have done a good job.

These guys know their business...very experienced, quickly solved the problem. I thought I had bent the door badly enough that it might require replacement; they assured me that they could make it right, and they did, in less than an hour. I recommend their services to EVERYONE.

Well, unfortunately, their "lifetime, lifetime, lifetime warranty" does not include fixing their mistake made at the initial install. Had to pay $89.90 for 7 minutes of service to move 2 bolts and put some spray on the door. I could have easily done this work in the same amount of time. A prime reason we chose the company was the promised warranty (see my original review from 10/7/2013). Unfortunately, 7 minutes of work to fix a problem caused by the installer not noticing that a side entry door would slam into the garage rail led to an effective $700+ per hour service charge. No new parts. A bit of garage door spray. Move two bolts. All for an effective $700+ per hour.
So much for their warranty. Yes, their truck advertises Angie's List. So, I figured an update was appropriate.

"We did install a couple doors in 10/13. The doors do have our lifetime warranty on any parts being defective. Our lifetime warranties do not cover small adjustments made on the door 2 years later. What our warranty covers is all the parts involved, which is clearly stated on are lifetime paperwork. Also stated is the service charge that is included with the free parts. I'm sorry if there was any type of miscommunication back in 2013. We are up front about all cost and want are customers to be satisfied with us."

I got home one evening and my garage door opener refused to close/lower the door. I tried contacting the original installers but didn't hear back in a timely manner. I couldn't keep waiting and so contacted Aggieland Garage Door company by email after hours. The owner contacted me by phone 1st thing the next morning (before 8am) and managed to squeeze me in the same day. He gave me a full explanation of what to expect during the visit. They called before coming and arrived within the indicated time window. The unit could not be fixed (though barely over 1 year old - and they tried!) so a new one had to be installed. They gave me options based on my needs and prices for both. Once I decided, they quickly went back to the store to get the system I chose (including new remotes and keyless entry) and came back to install. Once in place, they went over the safety features and the additional functionality provided by my upgraded system as well as the warranty. It was clear they wanted me to know that if any problems or questions arose I should call them. I was extremely pleased with the work and professionalism of all concerned.

Talked with Chris, owner, before they came out. He gave me an estimate and provided a higher end belt drive for the unit because he did not have chain unit in stock. This upgrade was at no cost. They came the same day as called. They called before arriving and once on site had the job completed within an hour. New unit works great. Keith, the installer, also balanced garage door by increasing tension on cable, put in new trigger lights on each side of door opening and then tested and explained the features of the unit. Very good service. Keith and his helper, were professional, courteous, good at explaining and testing the unit. I appreciate their promptness in getting to the house.

I have called this same company several times in the past. They always do a great job. Last month Keith came out and fixed up my 19-year-old unit to help it limp along a little more, although he told me it was probably near the end of its life. Sure enough, it had now reached the end of its life, so I called to have him come out and replace it with a nice new motor. Called about 8:30 this morning and he was here by 10:30, and done by 12:00. As always, he offered to do some minor fixes to save money, but I was ready for a new unit with no more problems. I always appreciate that they are willing to try small things first instead of just pressuring me to buy the biggest package deal.
Keith does great work, thoroughly explains everything, and left my garage clean, everything lubricated to last a long time, remotes programmed, etc.
And of course, they have a nice lifetime warranty that comes with their work.

I can't remember his name, but the man spent at least an hour working on trying to get my garage door to work better. It was not installed right to begin with years ago. At the end, he didn't charge me a dime because he said he couldn't guarantee it wouldn't keep giving me trouble. What I really need to is eventually have it completely replaced and built like it should have been to begin with.
I have had this company come work on my door before when the spring broke. I thought they did a great job that time, which is why I called them again.
I get the feeling that they know what they're doing and feel a sense of pride in their name. In other words, they care about the work they do and aren't just there to piddle around and then charge a high fee.
I highly recommend this company!

"We called [Member Name Removed] immediately after this review was posted. [Member Name Removed] had her door and opener serviced/adjusted by us back in mid January. The Service came with a 30-day labor warranty that she never tried to use. While on the phone with [Member Name Removed] recently, I offered her a 50% off service call to help resolve any problems she may have been having. [Member Name Removed] replied that she did not mean to post anything negative about the company. I believe it was just a mis-communication as she gave us great grades. We work hard to make sure all are customers are happy. Mistakes happen from time to time and if we do happen to make a mistake, Please give us the opportunity to make it right. The garage door spring broke Friday evening, so the gentleman from the Aggieland Garage door came on Saturday! Quick, quality work, reasonable price (not cheap, but reasonable). No complaints, I would certainly recommend them.

If you have shopped garage doors recently, you know that the market is pretty flat in terms of pricing. Four estimates were all within $300 for our single + double door install. We chose AGD because of their repeated statement of having the best warranty, recommendation of friends, and general feeling that they would do a good job both during and after the install. The result of the install was quite good, though there were quite a few screws and other random bits on our garage floor. So, other than the potential tire poppers, the install went quite well and the garage is much more secure as well as temperature controlled.

Great. I had to reschedule because of a conflict. Both their estimator and sales guy (Chris) and the installer (Keith) called before arrival, showed up on time, completed the service in a timely manner, and charged a price that was appropriate for the services and materials that they put into the job. Before they left, they taught me about the features of the new opener, how to tell if something needed to be lubricated or serviced, and gave me suggestions on fixing any other issues that might come up. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend them again.
