Unfortunately a bit of a scam, really. Firstly the parts for the job were over twice the amount that I ended up getting them for elsewhere (over $100 difference), and the labor was two hours more than it took another garage. On top of that, when asked to comment on another problem (I knew what was wrong but was interested to see their response) I was told something completely different and entirely incorrect that would have set me back another $200-300. I'm not sure if that was because they didn't bother to look well enough or they were trying to take me for a ride.
Lastly, my friend has since taken his car there and they told him he needed all of his brakes replaced - i'd driven the car and he really didn't. This is a classic rip off move from garages and a good indication that you should look elsewhere.
The lady at the counter was very nice, actually one of the nicest people i've met at a mechanic's front desk. The Mechanic I spoke to seemed uninterested.

They were expensive, but they did a good job, and they fixed something that nobody could figure out. Nobody seemed to figure out, so I went onto Angie's List, and everybody seemed to have comments about them. They said the same thing, that they were expensive, but they figured it out, and it was something that even the dealer couldn't figure out. I was happy with them. They were really courteous. They explained everything. The main mechanic said they would keep the car for a few days, and drive it around the block to see, and then he took it back to the shop to test it, and found out that it was running low on 4 pounds of pressure. He said that is why my car was doing what it was doing, and he fixed it. I haven't had a problem with it then. They were more expensive than the dealership, and it is said the dealership is more expensive than anybody.

Very well.  They were honest -- they could have pretended there was something wrong with the transmission and tried to charge us, but they didn't.  They also spent some time with  my son giving him directions on how to properly shift the gears.  They seem very concerned with customer satisfaction.  (The date of service isn't accurate -- it was some time in the fall, but I don't remember the date, but the format requires a specific date.)

They are AAA rated and I think they are honest. They discuss the price and give me an estimate before they go ahead and proceed with the work.

Excellent service. Accustomed to service at the dealer, I had made arrangements for transportation and delays. They asked me if I wanted to wait for it to be completed. They found some additional issues, gave me a price and suggested that I didn't need to have the extra service completed right now; but. keep an eye on it. I appreciate that level of honesty when they could have made an extra buck off me.

They have a night key drop-off, which is nice.  They called us very quickly with the estimate and had the work done later the same day.  We have used them before and have always been pleased.

I work 9-5 M-F so made an appointment for New Years Eve Day at 9am since it was the only day off I had while other business were actually open as well. Based on other reviews from this site, I confirmed with him that I would recieve a call reporting the findings along with an estimate before any work was done.  By noon, I still had not heard anything so gave them a call fearing that they had started working on it and I knew it has ALOT of issues and a possible gold mine if in the hands of a shady mechanic. I forget the gentlemans name, Tom possibly? Anyway, they had finished looking at it (granted alot of this could be that it was New Years Eve, maybe they were busier than normal and I know everyone wants there car done RIGHT now) but 3 hours after my appointment? What was the point in making one then?  He was very courteous and explained everything in very simple terms, broke down the estimate charges ($1500) and was willing to work with me on what I wanted done that day.
****Ok, now this is where it gets a little tricky and theres a few ways to take the services I received but I hope it helps!  As a woman, who moved 1000 miles away, looking for a mechanic, I might as well have SUCKER written across my forehead. However my last mechanic was my Dad (he had diagnosed/confirmed the repairs I was looking to have done here), with 30 years experience. I grew up working in the shop with him, learned ALOT to the point where he would let me use a stall to work on mine and my friends vehicles and while temporarialy unemployed I went in daily to help him out. So being a female who also knows about cars is a double whammy, however, I dont have the tools, hoists, ect here to do my own work. Also brakes are one of those things that definately is best left to a true professional, stopping is pretty important in my book!
I had told them the power steering box needed replaced, they said it was just the hose. Ok, cool, trying to save me some $, but the $14 hose was going to cost approx $120 to fix...Yikes!  Was told the front brakes and rotors needed replaced "as they are badly worn". Explained to him how they were just replaced 4 months ago by my boyfriend and his father and that I will admit whether or not they were installed correctly was a matter of debate as I had my suspicions right after they were "fixed" and was pretty sure the film had not been taken off. Even with this in mind there's no way they were worn, let alone badly enough to warrent replacement. I requested just the rear brakes be done at this time (Still want to find a GOOD mechanic and although my Dodge has issues, the price is way too steep. Dont worry, I found much more helpful reviews on a free site ;) )  On the plus side, they kept the inspection to the areas of concern and didnt try to add in the other issues I know of i.e. oil leak, new spark plugs and wires needed, exhaust. Down side, if I didnt already know this, an "Oh by the way, I noticed issues with x,y and z" would be helpful.
By 3pm, still no call that the job was finished so I called them as I would only have a ride untill 4pm. I was told they were just finishing the 1st side (SIX hours and only one brake changed out??!) I explained to them I would only have a ride until 4ish and their response was "Well you can come up here and wait" Gee Thanks! As we were leaving the house about 4:10, I got a call that it was done. Hmmm 3 hours to do the 1st side & 1 hour to do the 2nd? Guy must have finally had his coffee LOL.
So I guess if you have plenty of time & money and 1 thing needing fixed its a good place to go. Unfortunately, I dont believe in paying for "Nice" and will be taking my vehicle elsewhere until I get my own equiped garage ;)

Having just moved here I wasn't sure where to go. I needed an inspection and my rear brakes fixed. While I did have to wait a bit to get the inspection done (no big deal) they had coffee waiting, and it was less than 30 minutes. Made an appointment for the brakes and I was in & out exactly how they said, and for the price they quoted me. Front desk people were outstanding. I recommend Aggieland Automotive.

The man I spoke with at Aggieland Automotive answered my questions as far as he could before looking at my window unit, and professionally without any hype or run-around.  I made an appointment to bring the vehicle in, and within an hour I was called with the cost, which was very competitive and fair.  I authorized the repair, and within two hours they called me again to say it was ready to pick up.  All this happened on the same day before noon, a hassle-free encounter and very refreshing.  When I picked my car up I asked some questions about transmission service, and the man gave me a very detailed explanation, at which point I promised to bring my car back later for transmission service.  Also my AAA membership gave me a significant discount off the original cost, plus $100 toward future service.  All in all, this has been a most pleasant experience.

Car was done 11am Thur. Drove 3 miles-car overheated. Called AA immediately. Car cooled, radiator & reserve tank DRY! Anti-freeze added to radiator & reserve tank. Windshield washers were not working either.(had oil change 2 weeks ago, fluids full)Mon. 6/16 My husband & I both spoke to Hank-he was very apologetic. He said he didn t know how car was not checked after fluids drained, but it happens-they would fix it. Bring car back at earliest convenience. We added anti-freeze, car ran FINE for entire week (to/from work-10 miles each way, lunchtime/after work errands for 5 full, very hot days-NO PROBLEMS). Sat. 6/21 We returned car Fri night. Sat morning Kirk called-said fluids had NOT been drained-all were fine. He said he did a pressure test-the radiator gasket had a leak. Had Kirk show me leak. He refunded $10 spent on anti-freeze & handed me estimate -$180.24. Also, we saw windshield washer hose was disconnected (said it had just worn out) but he would fix it. He said, I m not saying that we didn t do a bad job, cause we did but mistakes happen & he d probably make 200 more mistakes this year. He said thermostat had to be removed to install the new part so they would replace it, too. We couldn't afford the repair & didn't think it was needed, it was not leaking-the car ran fine after we filled the radiator, no leak on garage floor. Kirk said, "We'll take the money out of the deal & fix it." This bothered us, but we figured he knew what he was doing. I needed car for work Monday so we picked it up Sat night. On Mon 6/23-Driving to work, car was overheating has NEVER run above normal until tune up . Smell of anti-freeze was choking me-I turned AC off & rolled down windows. Also, a belt was squealing. I got to work-steam was coming from under hood. I looked under the hood and NO LEAK. While driving home, car overheated FOUR times in less that 8 miles. We got it to the shop, left a note call us before starting the vehicle. (Important: car ran perfectly until tune up . Oil is changed regularly and it has never had ANY leaking issues.) Tue 6/24-Kirk called-very agitated. I was VERY calm, polite-begging him to just please fix it. I asked him to not replace the part until he could determine that it was leaking. He said it was NOT AT ALL POSSIBLE that they messed up during tune-up. 15 min. later, shop owner called my husband, yelled at him-they did not mess car up-would not fix it, come get it immediately. If it had to be towed, fine but they were not touching it, he wanted it gone. We bought more anti-freeze, filled the radiator, & took it to dealer. Car was fine. After ten minutes of a service tech looking at it, we all concurred that AA didn't tighten the radiator cap properly, causing the problem. Dealer tech confirmed no leak. Car has been FINE since! Simple mistake like that could have cracked the engine block, thrown a rod, or any number of other things & I would have had no car! They could not admit that they might have done something wrong!
