The Appliance Solution

When my Asko dryer went out, I called The Appliance Solution the following day as I drove home from work. At that time they were busy doing a job elsewhere, but said they would come as soon as the job was done; they also said that they would call and let me know when they were on their way. Even though it began to get late (7:00ish), they did call to say they were on the way and to confirm my address. After arriving, they pretty quickly discovered that the electrical board had gone out. I had misplaced the manual, so one of them got online at the office to find a schematic for the dryer and relayed the information over the phone to the technician at the house. As I was taking care of other business, I was amazed to listen in on the conversation as they worked together to fix the dryer "via cell phone." It was pretty impressive! The technician had the dryer completely taken apart on the kitchen floor, holding the phone with a shoulder while using both hands to find the problem. He worked until 11:30 that evening, taking only one quick break to step outside to cool off ( the fireplace had caused the house to get pretty "toasty"). He was determined to get that dryer running for me before leaving! He did get it working, and said he would get a price for a new electrical board. The next day, he called to say that the part is no longer made, but they would continue to make calls in hopes of locating the part somewhere and get back to me.
