They always call you back always on time, and good communication. I don't have problems with them and they stand behind their work. I used them for 25 years and I would use them again.

Shame on me for not asking more questions about the pricing practices before hiring Luycx Plumbing. My father in law loves them, but I think he gets senior citizen pricing because he was charged much less than I was for a more difficult job. The PROS of this company are everything but the price tag. Pleasant office staff, professional and competent plumbers and a successful outcome. The CON is the pricing. We spent $202.50 to get a toilet unstopped....OUCH. The $135.00 hourly rate starts when the plumber leaves the office...….so the further from the office you live, the more expensive the service. Apparently, one hour is their minimum. After this, 1/2 hour minimums are charged...so you will pay 90 minutes for 70 minutes of travel and work. Surely Luycx can use a bit more precision than billing in 1/2 hour increments....and a flat fee for travel seems to be the norm for other plumbers in our area. Another disappointing fact was that the plumbing truck was in Angleton....close to our rental house....and drove back to Clute, which is about 20 minutes away. We would have been much better off if the plumber just came directly to the house.....so most of the travel fee was unnecessary. We will shop a little harder for more reasonable pricing next time around. We do know that other plumbing companies in the area charge a service call flat fee and apply it to the work if hired. Felt like $150.00 should have been on the very high end for such a basic service. Ask your questions up front about pricing with Luycx. I wish we would have.

They REQUIRED payment UPFRONT to schedule service.  Since it was an emergency, we had no choice but make payment over the phone.  He came to fix the house and 30 minute into service, says he forgot a tool to fix the kitchen.  Said he would come back the next day.  Called for the next 3 weeks with no response.  Today the owner of company called us and told us to stop calling them.

It went really well.  Sam was extremely knowledgeable and competent.  He explained to us all about the disposal and its condition and that if and when we get a larger disposal we might need to modify the plumbing/drain lines to accommodate it.  He told us about the pros and cons of various disposals.  I am thoroughly pleased!
The women who answer the phone in the office are very knowledgeable and helpful too!  They went the extra mile to find the special disposal I wanted, (which as it ended up, I didn't need).  I spoke with them several times that day and felt reassured.  
All the way around, it was a great experience, as far as plumbing repairs go!

The plumber was professional, friendly and did a clean, neat job. I am satisfied with the results.

The job was very well done. No problems.

We had a contract update our shower fixtures last year, but they created a leak behind the wall. Despite my attempts they wouldn't fix the leak they created. I called Lucyx and the plumber arrived promptly the next day. Best of all, he fixed the leak in 2 minutes! It was so fast, I decided to have him look at our tub which hadn't worked right in years. He replaced the old spout and solved the problem in 10 minutes! All that for $125. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends.

It went well. They followed instructions, installed the line and did a leak check. They did the work quickly and efficiently.

Luycx Plumbing Co is good. They are good and they have been here for years. They are a family company. They are honest. They do what they say. They have competitive price.

I had called them because I thought I had a leak in my home. I called them to see if they could examine my plumbing. They even came after 5p! After they had left they let me know they had look under sinks and checked my toliets. They came back on the same day after the city knew the leak was outside my house. They did not charge me extra for coming back.

I have only used Luycx Plumbing once, but they did a good job when I used them. They did quality work and they were very fast.

The service person showed up during the time scheduled. I called to have them install a new shower kit that I purchased myself. When he arrived he told me that he would be happy to replace it, but he said he could repair it and I could just get a facing kit for less than half of what I paid. He explained that he has had a lot of experience installing those valves and has had a lot of problems with them. He also stated that I would probably not like the pressure reduction that the new valves produce.
He went on to say that he will be more than happy to install the new one, but was very honest about the results. I decided to have him fix the shower rather than replace the whole valve. I am very happy with his honesty and professionalism. I will be using them for any and all plumbing issues that arise.
