Security Waste

We were told to put out the trash out Tuesdays by 7:30am. Most of the time I would get home at 6pm and everyone's trash is still sitting by the street. They don't call or let you know why they didn't pick-up the trash nor do they let you know when they will pick it up. I have been told the truck broke down or someone was out sick or they weather was bad and they will pick it up the next week. Basically they just pick up the trash when they want to and never notified anyone about it.
What made us change services as soon as an alternative became available was we did yard work and had quite a few bags of pine needles bagged up (17 bags) they missed the trash day as usual and when they finally made it to pick up the next week they refused to pick up any. I called and was furious about it, they missed a week of service and they said they can only take a few, unless I wanted to upgrade to 3 cans a week. They said their truck could not hold that many bags and would have to drive back to dump the load. I explained that this was a one time deal since it was too windy to burn and there was a burn band, long story short they are full of sh** my awesome neighbors let me put bags by their driveways and they picked them up no problem.
