I got a coupon for a service call and that's how I ended up dealing with this company. First, the technician was the owner of the company, he arrived on time, but since my softener was not the brand his business sells, he had no idea of how to program it. As he was changing settings he was on the phone calling his friends and competitors -that's what he stated- that knew better on how to program that particular brand. At the end, he said he would make some changes to increase the delay between flushing periods. He took about 90 minutes on a 30 minute task. A week later, I noticed the softener was not flushing at all. Whatever changes he made, just were not the right ones. I will call another company to come and have it serviced the professional way.

It went well, he showed up on time and did some preliminary checks and system cycles. After taking a sample of the water he determined the softener wasn't working. He asked me about the house water pressure and I said it's low. He bypassed the softener using the shutoff vales installed on the plumbing, and the water pressure increased in the house, he said that's one way of telling the softener isn't working properly . The other way was taking a sample of the softened water, drop in some chemicals and the water did not turn blue like it was supposed to. The unit is 16 years old and it appears I'll be needing a new one.

Tested water, said OK, delivered the 2 bags of salt, said unit was working fine, and left.
While here, he said he didn't know my unit but had someone he would call if needed.
I would call the people who installed my unit if I had a problem.

The entire process from the purchase on Angie's List to the service call was very smooth, very speedy, and very

 professional.  I will use this individual again and I DO recommend him.

We love our water softener!  It makes my little girl's hair feel better and tastes better when we drink water.  It only needs a salt refill about every 3 months and is easy to replace in the container.  Worth every penny we spent on this upgrade for our new home!

The installation of the water system was done in a matter of a few hours and included the water softener and a microfiltration system under the kitchen sink.  The crew was on time and installed the system with no problems. The company responds quickly to calls and questions.  They have an automatic reminder system so that the filters are changed on time and the system has a total check up.  An important part of my decision was based on price which was half the price quoted by a representative associated with a large store. The equipment of the other store appears very similar to mine.  This is a growing small business. I have received excellent service and pricing from RB's Water Resources. There have been no problems with the system.
