Dickie Bennett

Mr. Bennett showed up promptly, took measurements and left. A week later he returned and installed some framing around the doorway and a threshold. Then he installed a door that I wrongly assumed to be an exterior door. I paid him his requested price of $1,000. for his services. A few months later the door started falling apart. I called Mr. Bennett and asked him to repair the door. He told me he would look at it the next day. As far as I know he never looked at it. I finally hired another carpenter to repair the door and he showed me the door Mr. Bennett had installed was nothing but 2 skins with pulpwood in between, in other words, an interior door. He did a temporary repair would told me the door would have to be replaced shortly. Mr. Bennett had to have know the door would fall apart. I resent being ripped off.
