Window Gang Austin

The Window Gang came highly recommended by my neighbors in the Sunset Ridge Condominiums. I hired them to do exterior washing only on August 24. There must have been a misunderstanding about removing and replacing the screens. We had to remove them and the worker and my husband put them back. I thought all was well with the exterior job and noticed smudges and paint spots on some of the windows that the worker said were from the interior. I asked how much more it would be to clean the interior windows and he said it would be around $100 and that he or Alfonso (?) would come either Thursday or Friday that same week. No one ever followed up. Last Sunday, I began cleaning the interior windows myself. I noticed that some exterior windows were not thoroughly clean and I cleaned them. I’m about halfway through cleaning my windows. All in the all, the Window Gang job was fair at best. I am not happy about no one following up with me to clean the interior windows, and I would not recommend Window Gang nor would hire them again.

They arrived on time and were courteous, however, I was not happy with the way that they left the work areas. They cleaned out my gutters with a water hose and made a muddy mess on my BBQ grill and air conditioner compressor. There was mud smeared on both of these things after they made a poor attempt to clean them. They blew/washed leaves, sticks and gutter debris down in my air conditioner compressor that I had to have cleaned out. I also had to hose down my BBQ grill because of the mud that was smeared all over it. There was also dirty, muddy water dripping off of my gutters. I had to get a ladder and clean that too. They left big chunks of lint in between my washer and dryer that, again, I had to fish out and throw away. They also broke one of my flower pots which they told me about while doing the gutter cleaning. I was not upset about it at the time but that was before I found all of this mess after they left. Too bad because I have used Window Gang for several years and have been satisfied. But I will not use them again.

They did a fine job and were very pleasant and professional to deal with.

Technician arrived right at time they said. He did the work efficiently and quickly. I was very happy with the result.

They showed up on time and did a great job. They weren’t the least expensive but for what they did, it was a good value.

The gentleman arrived on time and cleaned all gutters and downspouts. When it rained heavily the next day I could see the work was well done.

Our house is a little under 4,000 sq ft and the company sent just one person to do the job. The employee who came worked hard and did a good job, but the volume of the work was too big for one person, and I do believe two people would have done a better job. We had previously used this company twice and each time two people came to work. Initially I was going to give B for this reason, but decided to give A instead so that the worker who came and worked hard does not get penalized because of the way the company manages.

Used Angie's List coupon that was to have covered 12 windows, but we have about 15-16. WG charged double the coupon amount, which we only learned AFTER the work was performed. The work was "good to very good," but there were some smudges left—particular close to the frame areas. So, not a "bad" experience, but not a "stellar" one either.

Good but they still have to come back and put back on 11 screens that they did not finish

I really enjoy working with this company. Someone always answers the phone when I call. They quote reasonable prices and they can get me scheduled quickly. Then they come out when they say they will and they do an excellent job. I can't ask for anything more. They really are doing business the right way.

Well. On time, fast, checked their work with hose, I would use again.

It went great. They called me within 30 minutes of selecting the deal, scheduled me immediately, got to the job sooner than promised, and did a great job. Very polite and friendly guys did the work. Will hire again for the next round of cleaning. And the price was fair.

This went very well. The arrived a little early, hardly knew they were here and cleaned up the yard and porches afterwords. I highly recommend them and I will be using them again.

Price had increased a great deal in the 9 months since the last time they were out. Good job but overpriced.

I've used Window Gang Austin several times, and they are always prompt, professional, courteous and helpful. They pressure washed my house and cleaned the glass sunroom, inside and out, and selected windows, including the window screens.

We needed to have some unsightly mildew removed from brick and Hardiplank siding on the second story of our home, and also wanted to have our concrete pool decking and patio powerwashed. We got several estimates and Window Gang's was very competitive (some were inexplicably 3 times as much, which seemed really excessive). I was also impressed by the communication. They arrived on time for the appointment and the two-person crew did a great job and knew exactly what to do, without us having to point anything out or ask for do-overs. Very pleased with the outcome, the service could not have been better, and we will definitely be hiring them again.

It went well. I just wish that they would have cleaned the tracks better as well as the soler screens after they were removed.
