I've been shopping for tint for my home's windows for more than a year. I've gotten quotes to put film on two windows that ranged from $285-$500. Solar Control Specialists ran a special for this service at $199. After reading reviews and seeing that the company was reputable, I bought the deal. Billy was very communicative and set up an appointment in a timely manner. He is very passionate about what he does and gave me a thorough lesson on tints, their qualities and durability. The windows are now covered and I've already noticed a reduction in heat and blaring sunlight (my windows face west so I was getting cooked in the p.m. before the installation.) The windows look great. I'm satisfied with the company and the service and would definitely recommend them.

When I saw the Solar Control Specialists Angie's List Big Deal online I called the number but was unable to make contact. The deadline for the special was over the weekend so I left a voicemail message. That Monday Billy Crouch returned my call. He was respectful, polite and knew his product. After answering my questions over the phone he then offered to come by for a consultation. He offered to extend the special for another day and I purchased it immediately. Billy came the following day and gave me a thorough review of the product again and brought samples to see how the windows would look both inside and outside of our house. He took lots of time reviewing several options with me about the selection of the film. Since we were wanting the window film to help reduce the glare from the sun as well as energy savings we also wanted privacy throughout the house. Billy recommended Ceramic 30 for most of the windows that needed shielding from the sun. He recommended Ceramic 40 for the few windows we had that need less shielding. He provided an estimate that we considered a good price for the quality of the film & number of windows we purchased. After the consultation we scheduled the installation. Billy came promptly on the day of the installation with the installers, two of nicest, polite and professional people a customer could ask for. They immediately went to work after Billy reviewed the job with them and showed them the windows. While the installers were here they took lots of care ensuring that all areas around the windows were covered and thoroughly cleaned up after the installation which took about a day and a half. It has been almost 2 weeks since the installation of my new window film. My windows look awesome and I can see clearly outside unlike the solar screens I used to have which obstructed my view. There was some temporary bubbling which Billy said was normal after the initial installation but all the bubbling has dissipated. To date I am very satisfied with the service and the high quality window film. I am especially pleased with the Lifetime Warranty. I am anxious to see a reduction in my electric bill. For all these reasons, I highly recommend Solar Control Specialists for your solar window film. Billy and his team were a pleasure to work with from the first phone inquiry to the completion of the project!

Angie's List really works!! I needed to have my home windows tinted due to the heat problem from windows facing East and West. I read the reviews and decided to call Solar Control Specialists. Mr.  Crouch was very professional and explained in great detail the differences between the various window tints. My husband and I decided on the Geoshield Ceramic 30. Mr. Crouch and his team arrived to install the tint on our windows and were in and out in a very short time. We are extremely pleased with the results and can't wait to see our next electric bill. The experience was top notch and would highly recommend Solar Control Specialists for you home window tinting needs.

Billy and his team arrived promptly to install window tint film on our bedroom windows.  They were pleasant, efficient and obviously experienced.   Billy then talked with me about installing Ceramic 40 on several other windows in my kitchen that, because of recent installation of a patio, had quite a glare problem.  He offered me a good price and I agreed.  I am so glad I did, the windows look great and the glare is reduced.

We had 1/2 our windows in our home tinted with Ceramic 30 tint.  We were so satisfied their work and the results, we asked Billy to come back and complete all windows.  Billy Crouch was very professional and very knowledgeable about the industry.  They did a great job and we would highly recommend them to others. 

We called for an estimate to frost a large bathroom window.  Bill came out promptly the next day for the estimate and completed the project the following day.  He frosted additional smaller side windows to our front door.  In the process, he discussed the process and benefits of window tinting. When we showed interest, he showed us several options.  We really appreciated Bill's knowledge and the way he helped us understand what might work best for us.  When we decided to go through with the window tinting, he provided us a good price and let us know why he doesn't use products he felt were overpriced or cause problems down the line.  He did a good at applying the tint film.  We highly recommend Solar Control Specialists and Bill Crouch for their quality of work and integrity in dealing.
