I called him, asked for an estimate and when he could be here. He showed up on the day he promised (I think it was the next day) on time. He worked quickly and left. No hassles.

I contacted Russell to grind 67 stumps on my one-acre lot. He arrived on time, surveyed the property, and bid on the job. His price was reasonable so I accepted his bid and he immediately started the project. He was efficient, grinding the stumps well below grade and finishing in a very short period of time. I was extremely pleased with the result. Then I walked the property to inspect his work. His grinder leaked hydraulic fluid all over my yard. The leak started before the first stump near the street, which indicates that the leak preceded this job. Hydraulic fluid puddled at each stump. It continued to streak and puddle across my yard, driveway, and sidewalks. I had to cover the streaks and puddles with sand to keep the fluid from being tracked into the house. There was more fluid in the street under the trailer and at the end of the trailer. The equipment leaked so much fluid that he had to add fluid, which he did at the edge of a greenbelt behind my property. Russell was with me when I discovered the first part of the mess. It seems unlikely that he did not know of the problem prior to the job or did not discover it while doing the job. This weekend will be devoted to disposing of contaminated soil and cleaning the hardscapes. I should have rented a big grinder and done the job myself. UPDATE: Russell rendered the yard almost unusable until I can completely dispose of heavily contaminated soil and rehabilitate it. The hardscapes will require extensive work.

I found Russell on Angie's List and called him early in the week. I explained the number and sizes of stumps to be removed and we agreed on a price. He came to my home the following Saturday morning at the time specified. He made quick work of the multiple stumps removal with his beast of a grinder. Russell was polite and professional and worked with great care while in my yard. I am totally satisfied with the work done and feel I paid a reasonable fee. I will use Russell again should the need arise.

I called this fellow one day and he had me scheduled 3 days later. Though he could not give me an exact time of arrival, he was very good about staying in touch by phone. Once he arrived, he worked patiently with me on several accessibility problems and we successfully placed his equipment in a very difficult spot without damaging anything around. The job was done in a little over an hour. The result was perfect. I would use him again any time!

Russell arrived on time. I called him on a Thursday and he took care of me on a Saturday. He identified what needed to be done. He needed me to identify where the sprinkler system lines were. He unloaded his machine and took care of the stumps. He accomplished exactly what I wanted done.

It is not often that I find a company that has the most reasonable price in town, but also does the best work and is the most professional, but I RemoveMyStump fits that description. I was a little nervous when I first called him and found that he doesn't quote firm prices based on total inches, but after I explained the situation and gave him a ballpark range of what I was hoping to pay, I felt much better about him than the other places I had called. The price also ended up being much less than what other places who charge for ever inch in stump diameter. I had explained that I was having sod laid early the morning he was scheduled to arrive, and he got there even before he said he would, and knocked it out with plenty of time to spare. He was courteous, professional, and responsive throughout the entire process. In the end, his pricing method really paid off since I had a handful of stumps, and once he is there and has his grinder set up, he does not try to nickel and dime you like the other guys in town. I have had a few stumps that I didn't include in my original description to him because I didn't think they would be worth including, and he said just pay however much extra I thought they were worth. Overall, I would extremely impressed, and would recommend "Uncle Stumpy" and RemoveMyStump, LLC as the best choice for anyone in the Austin area who has stumps to be removed.

I called Remove My Stump yesterday and he was able to come out today which happens to be a holiday! My stumps were gone in a matter of minutes with his amazing stump grinding machine. I would recommend his services to anyone who needs stumps removed from their yards. Excellent service!!

I am a HOA Board member and we do the mowing ourselves along with other homeowners in order to save landscaping fees for the membership. We have had an issue with oak wilt and as a result we lost many trees. The trees were taken down but the stumps remained. After several mowers were damaged by the stumps the HOA Board decided to get them removed. I saw Russell's ad on Craig's List and contacted him by phone and e-mail. He returned by call quickly. After I explained what I was needing I sent him photos of the stumps using my shoe in the photos as a reference. He reviewed the photos and gave me an estimate of $500.00 for all the stumps to be removed and cut below grade at least 6". He showed up on time and quickly got to work. His machine is something to see. He even took out a pick-axe and dug around several stumps. He was also very safe and made sure that nobody was close by when the machine was running. When we were almost through he had noticed a few others and went ahead and took them out too. While I fully expected and was willing to pay extra for these he didn't change the original estimated amount. The work was done to perfection and we could have not have hired a better company for the job. I will always recommend Russell for stump removal.
