Over all it went very well. As stated above all work was done in a craftsman-like manner.

I hired Ken Bowen with Ranger Roofing (soon to be Pilot Roofing) for the first time in 2007 to replace the composition shingle roof on my home in Lakeway.  I was very impressed with the work and hired him again in 2011 to replace the roof on another home. 

I have yet to find another contractor (in any line of construction) who pays as much attention to every job as Ken does.  He arrives promptly with his crew at 8am and stays ON SITE throughout the job.  In the second roof repair, Ken replaced several areas of rotten decking, converted our roof to ridge venting (from the standard swirly vents), salvaged as much of the existing materials as possible, reinstalled flashing (it was installed improperly with the previous roof), and went back even touching up the paint on the house where ever the roofing work had chipped it.  Ken coordinated the roof work to be done in conjunction with the addition of two porches we had built on the house, returning once the porches were complete in order to roof those.  The main roof replacement took Ken's crew 2 days to complete.  The first day they worked from 8 am until sundown (9pm).  The crew then stayed another 30 minutes to clean up the job site (knowing they would be returning the next morning to complete the job)!  On the second day, when the work was complete, my yard was 100% free of debirs.  Even my flower beds survived!  The crew thoroughly covered the yard, picking up every last nail that had been dropped.

Overall I am 150% satisfied with Ken?s work.  He?s thorough in everything from initial communication to explaining the work being done before, during, and after the job.  BE AWARE ? there's apparently one (or more) roofing companies in central Tx calling themselves ?Ranger Roofing? who are NOT paying as much attention to their jobs as Ken does.  This is the reason for Ken changing the name of his company.  Regardless of the company name, you want KEN BOWEN to do your roof job.

They are very honest and very friendly. They came highly recommended to me by a friend who himself had used Ranger Roofing several times for his own roof. They have done roofing for several houses in the neighborhood and are really good people. They had also done a great job of cleaning up after themselves and making sure that all the nails were picked up afterwards.

Ken came with his crew at the end of one day and worked as long as they had light. Then they worked two more full days after that, giving great attention to detail. Ken was very flexible and creative and friendly. He made sure I understood every aspect of what he would be doing. He was always quick to answer phone calls and get back to me as we came close to deciding on the start date. Ken also was very careful that his crew left my property clean, and even personally cleaned oil drip spots from my driveway, when he discovered a worker's truck had a leak. Ken was very friendly and communication was very easy and straight forward. I had absolutely no problems with him and would recommend him highly to anyone.

They came when they said they would come. They did the job quickly, and cleaned up the place once the job was done. Their pricing was good. They were professional, and the quality of work was good.

Ken was prompt to give us a bid on a rental property we own and got the work done with absolutely no problems. His big crew of 15-20 did the job in one day-including a thorough clean-up. I found him highly recommended in a neighborhood email group and have since had two sellers (I'm a Realtor) use his services without any problems. He owns the company and he takes pride in his crew and his work.
