The service went well. The problem with the filtration of the pool system was resolved and completed in a timely manner. Also the motor needed a small part replacement which was taken care of as well. The technician was thorough, courteous and sincere. I was satisfied with the job and would recommend them to others.

Service starts out great, but when you don't buy the additional services the quality of the work plummets. They kept our pool nice and clean until we decided to clean the filters ourselves rather than pay them additional hundreds to get the job done by their guys. Now it's just awful. They haven't stopped coming by and charging us. They just don't do the work. Proceed with great caution.

I will not be using Perfect Pool Care.

I called and left a message mid-week 11/19 or 11/20 and Rob called back quickly. I explained that air was getting into the pool filtration system. The system wasn't completely priming, air was visible in the pot just before the pump. I was a little concerned that someone could spend a lot of time fishing for the problem as it could be in any number of places including an under ground pipe. Rob assured me he could find the problem and even if it was an under ground pipe, he knew someone who was very reliable and reasonable at fixing that. I mentioned that I kept our gates locked and if he would let me know when they could be out, I would leave one gate unlocked for them. He wanted to get a look at it before the cold snap arrived in a couple of days, he called one of his guys and called back. He said he knew my gate was locked but if I could unlock it, Eric could be out today, otherwise he would work with me on another date. That was the beginning of there awesome service. Rob called later that afternoon to let me know that Eric found the problem. One of the Jandy actuator valves had bad o-rings and he also explained how he was able to confirm that, which made me feel confident that they knew what they were doing. They would order the o-rings and replace them on Monday 11/25. On 11/25 they replaced the o-rings and double checked the system. Everything was working well, system primed and no air leaking in. I had also asked about my polaris hose getting all tangled the last few days and Eric checked it, adjusted the jet on the back. Rob mentioned that the hose was getting old and I might want to think about replacing it in the future, he also told me how to adjust the jet in the future and mentioned that there was a small crack on the pump casing just below the intake. He said it could last 2 years or get worse tomorrow and he suggested keeping an eye on it until it starts to cause trouble. When I asked about paying him, he said he would send me an invoice at the end of the month. I received the invoice 11/30 and it was exactly the amount quoted. This experience couldn't have been better, I highly recommend Rob and Perfect Pool Care.

Never responded to request for service

They're a small company and you feel like you're important to them. We're really glad to have people who are knowledgeable and also they're really working to make sure they're coming every week regularly and taking care of things that we have a lot of questions about. Whenever we would go on vacation we know we would need someone looking after our pool and they did such a good job so we decided to keep it in their hands.

"PERFECT POOL" WAS A "NO SHOW"

Erik Pacheco came out to provide an estimate soon after we called him. He gave us a good monthly rate which includes chemicals. Ken is our weekly pool cleaner. He always does the work at the same time and day of week. He is very thorough and pleasant to deal with.

E-mailed Rob and Perfect Pool Care looking for a new pool maintenance company and told them that the pumps did not seem to be operating properly on our pool. Rob promptly sent out his maintenance director Erik and they provided us with a quote for the necessary repairs and for the monthly pool maintenance. The repairs were done quickly and so far so good about three months later. Rob followed up after the repairs to make sure that we were happy with the work. Everything is running great and Rob's technicians have kept the pool clean and ready to go. With my last pool maintenance company it seemed like they were constantly looking for things to repair and my monthly charges were never what I would expect. I would agree to the repair and then a couple months later the same part would be broken. I don't feel like I am going to have to deal with the same thing with Perfect Pool Care, but obviously time will tell. They have done a great job so far.

Very knowledgeable and professional -- by far the best pool company I have done business with since buying my house in 2011 (they are the 5th company). For the first visit they explained everything to me and did everything I asked for less than $150. Super thrilled with the result. During the 2nd visit, they replaced an inner gasket twice and it became clear that my pump has a defect (it is only 1 year old). They advised me to contact the original installer to see if it's still under warranty, which I plan to do. I fully expect to engage this company in routine pool maintenance in the spring.... super thrilled with the personnel and the way they do business.

I contacted this company because of Angie's List and Better Business Bureau. I find the owner so professional and easy to speak with. He is open and honest about his product and his service. He cares about the quality of his product. I spoke to three companies and I chose this company because of the attitude and behavior of the principal. The service has been great and I am very happy. I would refer this company to any one looking. This company has earned my trust.

Still perfect. I never even have to think about. the pool, it's always sparkling. The techs are so sweet and always do a great job.

I've been happy with their service. The pool looks great for the 3 months that I've owned it. When I've noticed other issues, they are very responsive. Typically, I will receive a call back within 2h of leaving a message and the service techs will visit my house within 1 or 2 days to repair the issue.

Initial Estimate and Planning Initial contact had a minor misfire, but once contact was established communication was regular, clear, concise, and effective. My questions were answered. I was provided a reference whom I contacted and questioned independently. We asked about potential alternatives, and got data about pros and cons so we could make up my own mind. The estimate was broken into pieces so we could decide what parts of the project we wanted to implement. We ultimately decided to do the full monty. I am happy to report there was extraordinarily little pressure to do everything. It was a very business like approach. We can do X, Y, or Z, and each option will cost these amounts and savings will be A or B because of these considerations. Options were very clear. The Work The work was performed on time, on budget, very professionally. Erik showed up when he said he would. Any problems he encountered, and I know he encountered some minor glitches, did not become my problem. :) The work took all or parts of at least three days. He came back when he said to educate me on managing the new system and the less-than-intuitive interface on the EcoSmarte controller. So far I have not encountered anything amiss. In redoing the work, they improved on a lot of the old stuff - for example, all the new switches are up at an accessible height, instead of being 18" off the ground. Duh! Details like that make all the difference between DUMB and NICE! Follow Up Rob, the owner, has followed up on a couple of occasions to ensure that all is well. I'm happy to report, it is. The Results Let's take this in two parts. This was an expensive piece of work. Part One. We are completely satisfied with the quality and performance of the work by Perfect Pool Care in replacing our equipment. There is ZERO doubt about this. Great company. Would not hesitate to do business with them again. A+ all around. Part Two, which impacts Perfect Pool Care tangentially (They recommended EcoSmarte and they are a dealer.) What remains to be seen is whether the EcoSmarte system will be effective through a Texas summer in sanitizing the pool. It is only March as I write this. It has been one month with the system. I keep detailed records and logs. In past years I have ALWAYS had algae problems in the pool at this time of year, not severe, but the annual battle was already heating up. I can quote you chapter and verse from my logs. This year, the pool is absolutely sparkling clean, the water is crystal clear and there is not one speck of algae, nor has there been since this system has been in place. In the almost 10 years we have had this house and pool, the water and the pool has NEVER been this clean. That bodes well. Because of the automatic nature of the system (ionization, oxidation, Ph control with the CO2 canister, and the timer switches), pool maintenance has never been easier. I take care of the pool myself, and my care has been reduced to removing leaves, and adding phosphate remover once a week. I still maintain my logs. I am still adapting to the new system, and learning how it responds to changes in the weather, heavy rains, and so forth. I measure the water chemistry, make sure everything is nominal, and enjoy looking at all that wonderfully clear water, thanks to Perfect Pool Care. As I said, it isn't summer yet. But so far, I am a very happy camper.

I was very pleased with their responsivess, service and professionalism. They did an initial treatment on my pool. Then followed up with daily treatments until my pool water was clear. They were very honest with what could / could not be done and how long it would take to restore my pool's condition. Everytime I needed to speak to them, they either answered immediately or responded very quickly. Eric (pool tech) was very courteous and knowledgable. I'll use them again for future pool maintenance needs.

They are great about telling us when minor repairs are needed, and we never feel like they are trying to make money off us. The owners of the company are very responsive, and it's nice to have a consistent person working on our pool each week. They seem to treat their employees well. Very happy with our service -- good work for a good value.

Did each job as scheduled. Came back to teach me how to use them. Will use again and recommend to friends.

It didn't go very well since they never returned my phone call.

I have used several pool companies and they have been the best hands down-- they charge a flat rate, and my previous companies were clearly gouging me with extra chemical charges. Also, when they started service they fixed a lot of problems that my previous company had been neglecting for months.

We had used Perfect Pool Care for a few years and then tried a sucession of other companies in town. The pool spent most of that time cloudy and edging toward green. The other guys messed up the electronic monitoring system, messed with the filter and hot tub heater until nothing was functional. I called Rob at Perfect Pool Care and begged him to take us back. It took his guys 2 days to fix the sytem, and suddenly we had a sparkling pool again. They are patient and caring perfectionists and I can't thank them enough for helping us really enjoy our pool again.

When we first moved into our house, we were very unhappy with the high price and low service of the company recommended by our realtor. Looking around, we talked at length with one of the owners of Perfect Pool Care, Rob, and were immediately impressed by his knowledge and customer focus -- and excellent price. We have stayed with them for so many years because of their courteous, thorough service. Rob is always good about calling back quickly when I have a question, and they take extra care during the Spring to help keep our pool from getting green from Live Oak pollen and spring algae. We have trusted them to replace our filter and provide other necessary repairs. They also came out quickly for an emergency when a yard crew broke a pipe into our pool -- Kendall came out right away and gave us a very fair price for the service. I recommend them to everybody I know.

I was impressed with the hard constant work they did. They were here on a daily basis brushing and scraping the plaster. They worked diligently and never slacked. The job came out great. The price was very reasonable. I received a response when I first called immediately.
