Minyard Sons Service

Caused flooding in my house while the plumber was working. The flooding started 7 hours after he started. Plumbing company refuses to take responsibility for the damages. At this time the manager will longer speak to me. After 2 months of my homeowners insurance trying to get a hold of them. Minyards finally responded with all lies.

Cause was identified and replacement outlet installed.

It went very well. Paul showed up on time and did a bang up job. He also cleaned up afterwards and hauled off all the trash from the job site.  He had to do some additional work because our shut off valves froze up and had to be replaced.

We were quoted $1000 from one company, but Minyard did it for around $400. They were excellent and I was very happy.

It was a pleasant experience. The gentleman that did the work was very cordial, nice, efficient, and knew what he was doing.

Came out on 8/1 to determine why I had very low water pressure at kitchen faucet. Determined I needed a new faucet. Scheduled to come back on 8/2 to install faucet I went and purchased. Had an appointment scheduled between 11:00 and 1:00 so I arranged for my father in law to be there. As of 2:30 they still had not showed up or called to tell me they were running late. I left work to go relieve my father in law and finally at 3:50 the technician showed up. No apology or explanation for being late. I called the office several times during this wating period and was told he should be there soon every time i called. The office person was apologetic but the fact remains I had to continue to call them. They never called me. They did do a good job but their lack of promptness is unacceptable.

Be aware of what they say because what they charge may be different from what they say.

Discovered water pooling up in my yard around 9 am. Called around and settled on Minyard since their prices were reasonable compared to some others I called. They didn't charge a separate service fee, which I appreciated. They told me they could be at the house by noon, so I worked on digging up the pipe myself to save some time (they are payed hourly). They arrived around 1:30 pm, and started working. Chris was very polite. He finished the job within an hour, allowed the glue on the PVC to dry for 15 mins, and then pressure tested the system for leaks. Fortunately, all was well, so after giving me the bill we parted ways. (I replaced the dirt and grass that I'd dug up myself).

He was very responsive in terms of being able to get out the same day. He was here within thirty minutes of when he said he would be here. He had to do some extra work that he had not anticipated and he did not charge extra for it over the price he quoted.

This is a real company, not fakers. They came when I needed them. They were on time and the plumber who showed up is a true professional.

They were punctual and did a good job. They came when they said they would come and finished the job on time.

I had what I thought was a plumbing leak behind the wall. I called them and set up a time and met the plumber. It turned out to be in the drain itself located in the pedestal sink base. It was diagnosed and repaired. He also fixed a small leak around the drain. The plumber was nice and showed me exactly what happened.

The service was shoddy. The job took about 7 times longer than they anticipated. They had said that the job would be done in a day, and it lasted about 6 weeks, off and on. The building was old and they didn't take the design restrictions of the building into consideration when they were designing things and everything had to be done in a much more elaborate way than it would have had to have been.

They were very professional, reliable and we are very pleased with the work.

Adrian called us and told us he would be there in about 30 minutes. He was on time and went straight to work. Very efficient, thorough, neat and courteous. The toilets flush and we're excited because we can have company again!

THIS WAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. WHEN THE PLUMBER GOT HERE I TOLD HIM ALL THE TOILETS WERE FLUSHING SLOW AND THE TUBS WERE DRAINING SLOW AS WELL. HE SAID HE WOULD REMOVED THE TOILET FURTHEST FROM THE STREET AND RUN AN AUGER ALL THE WAY TO THE STREET. HE REMOVED THE TOILET AND RAN A SMALL AUGER NOT NEAR LARGE ENOUGH OR LONG ENOUGH TO MAKE IT TO THE STREET. I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I HAD TO CALL ANOTHER COMPANY OUT AND I DISCUSSED WITH THEM AND SAW THE DIFFERENCE. HE WAS HERE NO MORE THAN 45 MINUTE AND HAD THE TOILET BACK ON. HE REPLACED THE FLAPPER ON THE TOILET WITHOUT EVEN ASKING ME AND THE CHARGE WAS INSANE ($98.00 FOR A $15.00 PART). I HAD TROUBLE WITH IN 4 DAYS AND HAD WATER BACKING UP INTO MY TUBS AND AIR BUBBLING IN THE TOILETS. I CALLED TO HAVE THEM COME FIX THE PROBLEM AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY ONLY WARRANTY THERE WORK FOR 24 HOURS. I HAD TO CALL ANOTHER COMPANY TO DO THE JOB RIGHT.

The plumber came on the same day we called and was on time. He explained what he needed to do and cleaned up the area when he was done. The price was less than another plumber quoted.

Mike, the plumber, was on time and very polite. The work was completed quickly and competently including cleanup.

I was happy that they came here the next day. He replaced the faucet and cleaned everything up when he was done. It only took him a short time to repair it. He was a nice guy, with a good sense of humor. I will call this company again, whenever I have plumbing problems. I have told my neighbors, how happy I was with their service.
