We used Emerson for home improvement jobs. The owner did a list of jobs charging us $1,175. A ceiling fan was incorrectly wired and a closet shelf system so poorly installed it needed to be completely taken out and reassembled. It cost us $340 to have these two jobs redone properly by an electrician and ourselves. We asked Lance for a refund of the $340 but never heard back. Additionally, they did not cleanup the mess they had left behind from their work.

We could not have been happier with the process or the product. Lance and his crew always showed up on time, worked diligently with an eye to small details, cleaned up after the job, and were professional in every way. Our cedar deck came in on time and on budget.

First things first, the expectations that my wife and I had were completely blown out of the water, absolutely exceptional in every way. The east wall of our house was compromised due to the high winds and driving rains associated with hurricane Harvey. My eight month old son's room sustained moderate water damage as a result and I felt that I needed to have the repair done as quickly as possible to mitigate the risks associated with further rainfall. I initially left a voicemail and Lance called me back within half an hour. I described the basics of my issue and within two hours he was at my house making an initial diagnosis and explaining how things would work if I chose to hire him. After discussing pricing, scope of project, etc... it was clear to me that he knew what he was doing. At that point I let him partially tear out the sheetrock in my son's room to let it begin the drying process so that work could begin the next day. Lance and his team arrived the next afternoon to begin the process of replacing two pieces of siding and the damaged sheetrock in my son's room. After the two pieces of siding were installed I went ahead and made the call to have them replace all of the siding on the east wall. Lance and his team returned the next morning at 8 AM sharp (just as discussed the evening prior) and work commenced. The repair is beautiful. My east wall now looks like a brand new house and I simply couldn't be happier with the result. Below are a few bullets that my wife and I talked about after meeting and working with Lance. *Extremely respectful. Always knocked before coming in, asked if it was ok to drive his truck onto the lawn, was very quiet when in the house when my wife was sleeping and my 8 month old was sleeping and always kept me in the loop as to how things were progressing. *Trustworthy. We immediately felt comfortable having Lance and his team at the house. Him and his team are very personable and we felt comfortable asking questions about how things worked and never felt like we were asking "dumb questions." We felt so comfortable that we actually wrote down a list of things we would like to get accomplished and reviewed it with him. Very cool guy. *Punctual. As stated above, he agreed to begin work on the second day at 8 AM sharp. There was a knock on my front door at 8 AM ON THE MONEY. That's rare and it got my attention. Long story short, this guy can do basically anything and you'll feel comfortable with him, his team and the job they are doing for you. I very highly recommend them.

I have used Emerson Home Improvements in several of our home projects. If I called for any reason, Lance Kimberley has always either picked up the phone or called right back. Same with email - he would get right back to me! So they are super responsive! They are Professionals. For each project they did for us (maybe 4?? - painting, accent wall, fence, plumbing) they were ON TIME. Did the work well. And then cleaned up after themselves! We have more projects that need to be done & as soon as we have the funds, I'll be calling Lance to set things up.
