From the beginning of the project, we were impressed by Mike's professionalism.  He had some unforeseen delays on other projects which caused him to push the start date of our project back a couple of weeks, but he kept us informed the entire time.  As time was not really of the essence to us on this project, we had no problem with the delay.  Once he and his assistant began, though, he remained on schedule.  Mike took the time to thoroughly clean up after each day's work, so we were not tripping over drop cloth, dodging paint buckets, or ducking under ladders. After they finished the job and the paint dried, we noticed an area on one wall where the paint did not look even.  We called Mike back, he gave us a date and time when he would be here, and he showed up as promised.  Mike touched up the area and even looked at the rest of the job to see if he could find something we all might have missed the first time.  We would not hesitate in recommending Mike to anyone looking for high quality work at a fair price. Mike was in the process of changing the name of his company, and his new Web site is www.78paint.com.

Once Mr. Parreno had the $400.00, he began creating excuses for non-performance, stalling, having "family" commitments, and shaking me down for more money than we had signed/agreed on.  By 2-14-12, he admitted he could not finish the work, and said I had received a great deal on what he had accomplished for the $400.00 deposit.  Problem is, he did not finish a single window; indeed it appears that 4 of them are completely untouched!

Mr. Parreno probably underbid the work during a slack time for him.  The jobsite was 20 miles or so from his residence/office.  Once into the project, I would likely have re-negotiated the price if I had received any indication that I could trust him.  I did not.

Not only will I not attempt to use Elite Painting in the future, but I feel it is my responsibility to warn others of this shoddy operation!  There are 3 facts that even Mr. Parreno cannot refute: 1.The bid was 4 days late, the job was dragged out past the target date, and the project was never completed!!!

For each of the three times we have used him, he and his crew were very professional and dependable (timely, neat, quality work). On the most recent exterior work, Mike worked us into his schedule with very little notice to accommodate our needs. He understood our budget constraints and recommended how to get the best value for our available budget. We have found Mike to be very trustworthy, respectful, reliable, and good at  communicating what he was going to do and when he would do it. We will certainly call him again when we need additional painting work performed.

Great.  He was just starting out then, but even so he was very professional and the quality of work exceeded my expectations

They were easy tp work with and are very flexible.

Mike did an excellent job. He was very punctual (arrived precisely on-time or a few minutes early each day. He was very clean during work and at the end of each day. Very knowledgeable of available paints and recommended excellent quality materials. There was considerable trim work throughout. which required considerable edging. He worked diligently every day and was very courteous, trustworthy, and well-spoken. We are very pleased with his work and will be having him come back to paint the exterior of our home in the near future.
