Cesar Garage Door Services

I'm hoping Cesar has gotten more competent and customer-service oriented since he installed two garage doors for my home in Westlake a few months ago. He was recommended to me by a contractor specifically because he is cheaper than other dealers, but in the long run his work has cost me more money. The first door he installed failed after just about two weeks and he had to come out to repair the original installation because it had not been properly done. Something wasn't tightened or adjusted properly and the door just stopped working. At east he came out to fix it. It has worked, albeit noisily, now for the past few months, but it's been making horrible thunking and clanking noises as it opens. Finally this week it just stopped halfway up. I reached out to him to ask him to come take a look at it and he doesn't return texts or calls. This door has only been installed for a few months, and I guess he knows there is no more business to be had here because he did both doors. He also installed a roller door on our other garage, but he didn't know how to do it and had to have an installer from Cedar Park Overhead Doors come with him to show him how to install. So far that one has been fine but it's manually controlled so I would expect it to be. If you want the job to be done on the cheap, Cesar is your man. If you expect even a modicum of customer service, or an installer who stands by his work, you're best to look elsewhere. In the long run, you'll end up spending more time and money if you go with Cesar Garage Door Services.
