The service was OK.  I had purchased a special deal for this provider through Angies List.  The provider just wasn't very communicative about exactly what was removed and what was cleaned from the computer.

They tried to fix my computer, but I guess it was too far gone. Although they were polite and tried to explain the situation, I was still disappointed that it wasn't fixed. I tried going to their office, but no one was there. They finally answered my phone messages and came and picked up the laptop and dropped it off when they were done.

Basically, problems not fixed even after computer was taken to the providers workplace.  Speakers are very noisy when on.  Software is a problem.

He cleaned the dirt out of the CPU system. He did what he said he would do and we did not have any problems. However the restoration did not include cleaning the spam out of the software.

I had bought a Big Deal coupon for 2 hours of computer repair.  Brandon came out on time and checked over my computer.  I wanted to see why it was running so slowly.  He did diagnose a few things and also recommended we put in more RAM.  We did that and it is running faster.  I was pleased with his knowledge and service.

Initiated nearly all communication over the course of 3 weeks as though told it would be ready "such and such afternoon", I wouldn't hear from Brandon.Brandon preferred texting to phone calls and claimed his busy schedule kept him from responding in a timely fashion.Often feared his communication with me was confused for another customer as what he'd text re:visiting a certain "link" rendered made no sense. Return of unit continually delayed. Claimed services required additional expense. Additional funds were rendered.Rude responses to initital attempts to be patientReturned unit void of ALL FILES! and new software appeared on desktop.When expressing my disappointment and making Brandon aware of depth of searching done to see if files were "anywhere" on the computer, I was beraded, accused of being a disgrace to my profession, and at one point told to "shut the F up". (I am a generally level- headed person, but this experience was ridiculous and lead to an agitated state.) I had never laid eyes on Brandon as he had claimed my laptop, retrieved additional funds from, and returned unit to my place of work.(I'm a teacher and meeting Brandon was not convenient, so receptionist was his point of contact.)When I suggested any further attempts to remedy the situation take place in a mutually public place.....communication ceased.As a single female, I feared for my safety, and chose to write this loss off as a bad experience and to not use such a service again.

Dropped my computer off  at 9:00 a.m. on a Monday, and was told normal turnaround is about 48 hours.  I called after 72 hours and got a message that the company was closed due to an emergency.  I left a message asking when I could expect to hear back from them.  Finally got a call on Monday to come pick my laptop up.  Spent a week not knowing whether or not I would ever see my laptop again.  Delays are understandable.  Holding a customer's computer five days longer than expected without providing any information about when you will reopen your business is not.   Some viruses and spyware were removed, but the laptop runs no better than it did when I dropped it off.   I was advised to reinstall my OS.

"Unfortunately at the time our office was located under a Dentist suite. Several times plumbing lines busted and flooded out our office. This was to our detriment but we continue to provide an excellent service and turn around time for our clients. We recently won the 2011 super service award and we continue to provide the same services to each and every client. Its our policy here at Capital Tech Support that our Angie's List Customers get 100 percent attention until the issue has been resolved."

I bought an Angie's Deal to optimize my desktop computer that I had had problems with for over a year.  The computer, itself, could not be saved, but Brandon downloaded everything on it to another drive for me to save all of my data and software.  He kept me informed on the status, expected costs, etc., and after initial contact was made, was very responsive.
